Precisely 3.5 STARS.After commencing the journey of cutting my own hair its alright. At first impression, it seemed phenomenal, but as I used it over time I started to notice the flaws.It's a great idea to have a headband like this to go off of, especially with a haircut like mine that involves a weight line blend. The main issue I have with it, is that if you are going for a high line/fade, it LOVES to start slipping upwards. This will cause you to lose the original intended spot of your line. The second issue I have is that the back alignment piece that attaches. Again great idea, but unless you don't have an occipital bone on the back of your head, the part were it attaches to the band cause a lever point, which causes the back alignment piece to be tip UPWARDS and creating sort of a 'U' instead of straight ACCROSS ear-to-ear, again because of that lever point. However, this headband does serve as a great tool to go off of for lines on the sides of the head at least. It might be better for you if you plan on going for a medium or low fade line.

Works pretty well. I’d say it definitely help me set the line for my mid drop fade. I used it until I got to the next line but after it gets closer to the top of your head it not as useful. Definitely still recommend getting a 3 way mirror to make sure the band is aligned properly before you end up with a really bad haircut. Definitely recommend for beginners.

Surprisingly… IT WORKS… especially for what it is. I have bad neck hair that grows in very quickly and has become a hassle to maintain. I have a “storks bite” that never went away as a baby in which the hair grows down it in a triangle formation within a week of getting a haircut. I have tried cleaning it up myself with multiple disaster cases which is what prompted trying this product. Just strap it on your forehead, move the guide up/down, take a few behind the back photos that it’s the right height and start trimming. I do recommend putting pressure on the guide so it’s flush against the skin while doing it. My first time using this product and it did what it was supposed to do. No more worries if I can’t make it to the barber for another few days/weeks.

Well this item is definitely a topic of conversation! I mean look at my excellent fade job! The plastic adjustable neck shaver will move very easily but it helps slightly. The fade tool just save yourself some money and go get a soup bowl from the kitchen! It will be similar results for sure. Not worth the money!
