Q: Has anyone tried this with a Raspberry Pi?

This is an old question, but yes.. I do.. I switch between a personal windows PVC, a work PC, and 2 cables I leave on my desk with HDMI adapters already hooked up to plug into whatever RPi projects I have going at the moment.. works great

Q: Does this come with rack-mount hardware?

Yes it comes with two 1in wide "ear" brackets to allow it to mount inside a standard 19in rack. They are tucked under a white piece of spacer cardboard in the packaging, maybe the other people here missed them. They do not come with rack screws however, just the screws to mount the brackets to the device.

Q: is there a keyboerd shurtcut to swich between each port?

Yes, you tap the scroll lock twice and then the number Key of the port you want to select. It chirps to let you know that it has accepted your keyboard input.

Q: This question pertains to tk-803r -- the 8-port mountable kvm with ps/2 and usb capabilities: are cables included? and if so, what are their lengths?

I have the 4-port USB KVM switch kit w/Audio (TK-409K). It came with 4-Sets of USB KVM cables and audio cables as well. I did not realize it until later but the cables came in different lengths. There were 2-each 6 feet long and 2-each 4 feet long, both USB cables and Audio cables. Can’t say if the 8-port version comes with all the cables or not. I assume that it might.
