They stood behind their productOriginal Review:I didn't know what to expect at a low prices, but here's what I got. The braid on this cable is something like a cheap cosmetic covering. Right out of the package the braid was frayed and just missing from spots. The connector on one end doesn't click into the jack on my Dell Optiplex, it just sort of make contact by being pushed in, but with a very slight tug or really just a brush of the hand, it'll pop right out.I'm only keeping it as I had to get this computer wired up on a free night I had, but in any other case I'd have returned it. Very low quality.

THIS is the great low cost option you are looking for! I was on the edge of getting it considering just how much more affordable it is compared to the other options, however, I have been running gigabit over 50ft consistently with zero issues! The Smolink braided cable not only looks great, but works just as good!

I have had NO hiccups with this cable since purchasing! It was obviously really easy to use, plugs right into your standard Ethernet port. It has been very durable as I am still using this same cable a few years later. I see regularly 1gb of download speed to my Xbox or pc AND that’s exactly what I am paying for through my isp. This cable provides the exact level of speed and functionality that I am needing for heavy online usage with little to no lag. Not to mention the braid on the cable itself has held up well with several people walking over there it is taped (yes taped down to the floor going through entryways as I could not go through the ceiling like I planned… physically couldn’t do the job thanks to health issues) and not only people but some dogs and a cat and it’s still going strong! That weave over the cable really offers some quality protection compared to a regular rubber cable.

We have 500Mbps internet speed and a router that maxes out at the same. A Cat5-7 cable should give us about the same speed as this Cat8 cable, but with how cheap they are we went with the Cat8.Ordered a 50-foot braided flat and 16-foot plastic flat (coming later).+Tested the 50-foot cable and it's great, speeds are always hovering around 500mbps.+Build quality seems good, I like the metal connectors.+The cable is fairly easy to bend.If you're getting slow speeds, check your router. Make sure to disable Quality of Service (QoS) and any packet analysis, those things can massively hinder your speeds.Never heard of Smolink brand before, but I'm willing to try their other products based on this.
