Put it in my bosses truck before I quit, I can only imagine how it's going!

Placed this in my coworker’s ceiling tile. He went straight up CSI trying to figure out what it was. He bought a stopwatch to time the intervals so he could listen for it and hopefully did it next time it went off. I looked forward to hearing his frustration every day until he decided it was an emergency lite. Once he landed on that, I changed the sound and another round of searching took place. I have to admit, I may get written up once he finds it but it’s worth it

I work at a small company and placed this in the CEO office about a month ago. He’s been tearing his office apart for a 2 weeks to find what the chirp is. Pretty sure he’s going insane now. Dark circles under his eyes.

Item arrived with a set of two that were both turned on, which is draining the battery. One of them was beeping, so I’m guessing the battery will probably die within five minutes of turning it on absolute waste of money. Good job guys just scammed me if they were decent human beings they would refund my money.

These are pretty cool. takes maybe 20 min in between noise, so it is very hard to find. Love it.

I bought this to mess with a co-worker who likes to play pranks in the office. It has been 3 weeks and it is absolutely driving him nuts. He even printed a "beep tracker" sheet he made so he could write down times to tell IT because he submitted a work ticket to have them help locate the beep. (I filled IT in so they are in on it so they dont waste their time. They were all too happy to help). We move it every few days and put it near different electronics in his office to change it up a little. Its small enough to fit anywhere and loud enough to hear over our hallways white noise machine.This is the best purchase under $20 I have made in a long time.The worst thing about this whole prank is having to keep a straight face.

Ordered the 2 pack. One works well, the other was damaged beyond repair during shipping. I would say this is Amazon's fault though. It came in a fairly large box (6x6x8) with just some crumpled craft paper in it.Despite what other reviews have said, its not too loud, maybe a bit soft. Probably perfect for a quiet office but I'll try it out in my noisy one.

The instructions say that they device has four different sounds (cricket, double cricket, beep, double beep), and to cycle to the one you want. Then the device is supposed to randomly make the noise you choose. The problem is that the device keeps cycling through the noises, so that it is never the same noise in a row. Kinda defeats the purpose of a cricket hiding somewhere when the cricket makes a robot beeping noise half the time. The device is also little larger than I expected. I didn't notice any product dimensions listed, maybe I missed it, but the device is about 1.5"x1"x.5".
