Q: How could i have a low serum vitamin d level when i've been taking these for 8 months?

Most over the counter vitamin supplements don't provide anywhere near enough of the required level of vitamin d3, especially over winter (also when indoors) as its obtained naturally from exposure to sunlight. Optimum levels are between 1000-4000ug daily so you'd be better off getting a sepatate high strength d3 suppliment.

Yes these are gluten free. Package says they do not contain gluten, soya, dairy, yeast or preservatives

Hi. You take two gummy’s a day. So you get 30 days worth in a tub. I’ve been using these for years and they are brilliant, especially if you don’t like swallowing tablets. You just chew these. They are a bit like soft wine gums, very fruity and have all the vitamins you need per day. Hope that helps

Q: Is this product halal? Does it contain Gelatin or Alcohol?

Actually, I don’t understand why the answer below says the product is not Halal. For the product to be considered Halal it has to meet two requirements; (A) it should not contain any products from animal origin (e.g., beef or pork gelatine) and since it is suitable for vegeterians then it most certainly meets that requirement. (B) the product should not contain alcohol and it doesn’t. So, bottom line the product is Halal despite what Schwabe Pharma are claiming. Also, I’ve bought this product from several muslim middle eastern countries that only sell Halal products (e.g., U.A.E, K.S.A, Kuwait and Jordab)...if it wasn’t Halal it wouldn’t have been approved for sale there.
