Expensive but functional - with limits
The bag seems well made. Padding to protect the games from a little bump or two is decent. Not sure about the zip on the main compartment - time will tell. There’s plenty of practical storage in addition to the main section. The top carry strap works great.Shoulder straps are ok.The main compartment is big enough for boxes like Dune: Imperium but NOT for Cthulhu Death May Die (carried flat). You can fit 3 “deluxe” boxes as long as they are no bigger than 30x30.The main downside that i have found is when carrying as a backpack when only half full. The bag has no structure to the back section (just a bit of foam padding). So the boxes press into you mid-back.I cycled with mine for about 12 minutes. Regardless of how tight the straps were - it was the most uncomfortable quarter of an hour of my life!Apart from that and the high price it’s a good solution for carrying precious games conveniently (if not comfortably).

Perfect for my needs. Discreet looks, convenient for getting board games in/out loft/house/car etc
For when you want something that looks so much better than an Ikea/laundry/plastic bag to store or lug your board games around in!In my opinion this bag is great for my requirements. I ended up buying 5 of these bags!I don’t have shelves for board game storage at home, hence I required 5 bags for a tidy consistent look, plus I am constantly ferrying games around to friends and family etc.I needed to achieve the following out of the bag,- Fit plenty of board games in per bag- The front panel must zip down for instant identification of all contents so as not to have to pull all games out of bag.- Have a discreet look so I can leave one or two bag(s) in the living room without looking messy- Have straps/handles to make it easy to transport in/out of loft/house/car/destinations- Be made to a reasonable quality so as to last at least a few years if not more.- Provide some form of additional protectionThis bag achieves all of these goals. The bag is made from what appears to be modern synthetics but looks and feels nice. The brass coloured zips and finger pulls make a nice finish. The side carry handles look like they are made from car seatbelt style material, (but softer) and they will definitely last the test of time. Note the stitching to attach handles to bag is reasonable but not heavy duty. The shoulder straps and back panel have minimal padding so are suitable for carrying short distances. The shoulder straps are attached with an increased amount of stitching which will still be sufficient for my needs as I don’t plan on hiking up a mountain with my boardgames. The durability seems reasonable (ie when i pull on the straps etc) but I have not had them long enough to full evaluate. No problems using the side handles lifting up and down loft ladders with fully laden bags. The bags walls/panels have a very basic thin foam padding, nothing to write home about but enough to provide some additional box bashing protection. The bag is unbranded, ie discreet with no brand names or labels indicating the bags contents. You can be an incognito board game geek with this bag ;)I fit anywhere between 5-10 games per bag depending on board game box sizes. There are lots of places to stuff smaller games.Games such as Mysterium / Seven Wonders / Jaws / All GIPF / Catan etc all fit without issue.Long boxes can also fit in these bags if placed upright at the back of the bag, ie I can fit a box of RISK inside this bag and then place other games in front of it.There is a front zipped pocket built into the front bag panel. There are multiple stretchy stowage pockets on the exterior left and right sides of the bag as well as inside the front panel and pocket. The bag comes with a convenient sleeve for smaller board game playmats. There are lot’s of board game bags out there but for meeting all my needs, the price & convenience of Amazon (UK) delivery, I found this difficult to beat.I would like to see this bag retail at a lower price bracket (who wouldn’t) but it does what I need so I am personally very happy with this bag.
