This is one of my best purchases I have made! And they are rechargeable.We live in a remote isolated village on the western coast of Alaska overlooking the Bering Sea for the past 11 years.We do subsistence fishing and the smell can get over powering in the areas we use.There are 3 in the car. 2 in the chest freezer where we keep the fish waste until we can get it to the dump. There is one hanging in the kitty box.I have had 3 tramatic brain injuries that do not heal. I have a Boston terrier who was potty trained on potty pads before we bought her at 11 weeks old. She has been trained as my service dog. We live on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so the potty pad training has been a God send as my mobility is limited.We have hung 4 of these in her diaper pail. Absolutly no smell!And they are RECHARGEABLE! 2 hours in the sun light (which is rare around here) or a day in the window sill.I have tried many different oder eliminator with no success, until I found these. Highly recommend!

I had purchased 10 storage boxes from the dollar store and they smelled awful from the plastic packaging. These charcoal bags are slowly removing the odor. It does take time for the odor to dissipate but it seems to be working. The charcoal bags are not scented. This is not a quick fix. I had to use all the pouches in my small laundry room. I would recommend for this type of odor.

I really like this product. This is my second time purchasing it. I bought this product 2 years ago for my basement. It had a damp basement smell. I put them in the basement and in the attic. I didn’t realize until recently the basement was starting to get that smell again. That’s when I checked my Amazon orders to see how long it’s been since I ordered them and it was over 2 years. I immediately reordered and that damp basement smell has gone. Will continue to order

This is of no use to me. I put four packs in my kitchen, but it didn't work at all，I feel that the ventilation effect is better than this one

I had an odor in my used truck I recently purchased that smelled like wet dog. I tried baking soda, vinegar, professional cleaning. Nothing worked. I bought these charcoal bags and put all 10 of them out in my truck. They worked. The smell is gone. I highly recommend these if you have a similar odor issue.

This thing is a game changer! I can’t believe how it can observe a big odor… I used them in basement, fireplace, sinks, trash area, shoes shelves and closets! I had a strong odor in my SUV caused by leaving a few bags of Black Kow (cow manure for fertilizer) in the car for 2-3 days in the garage (lesson learned). Some of the Black Kow invisible odor causing particles got caught in my cabin AC filter so every time I turned on the AC, that odor came out, so I couldn't use the AC. I put 5 of these bags in the rear cargo area of the SUV, all doors open in the garage with fans blowing full blast in the garage. A week later, the smell was gone then I changed the cabin AC filter. I keep 1-2 of these bags in the car all the time.I also put all of these bags in the sun for 2 hrs once every 1-2 months to cleanse / recharge. One time it rained and the bags were soaked. I emailed the company to ask if the bags, when dried out, would still be effective. They replied that yes, they'd still be effective. When I lifted the soaked bags, gray water drained out, so some of the charcoal was lost but they're still effective.Highly recommend these bags for cars, bathroom toilet area, hampers / closets, insert in shoes, drawers, hospital or nursing home rooms, many purposes.Consider combining these bags with a car air purifier or home / office air purifier and perhaps an aroma diffuser with organic essential oils to have the scent you want (pine, peppermint, lavender, etc) Tip: Don't use standard, non-organic essential oils bec they have lots of artificial, toxic chemicals, defeats the purpose of having clean air to breathe.
