My daughter bought me one of these as a gift. She liked hers so well, that she insisted that I needed one. I have to agree. This is a great little item, that comes in handy. I purchased 2 of these; one I use at our fishing cabin, while the other I bought for a friend.

Very nice. Light weight. I use it to help clean the filters on the returns to our pool. Very helpful.

I wanted this to boil eggs and remove them so I could save and reuse the water. Two eggs fit perfectly. Just the right size for what I wanted. I like the stainless steel construction and long handle. Made to last!

Nice spider. Only (small) complaint is that basket has a few sharp wires that need to be smoothed over.

The size works well when straining grease from hamburger meat.

I don't know how I ever got along without one of these and now that I have it I use it almost every day for a variety of kitchen tasks. Great for scooping pasta or vegetables, rinsing small portions of berries, fruits or vegetables without having to pull out a colander. I've had no problems with the stainless steel holding up and as long as you don't abuse it, should last a long time. Every kitchen should have one of these and this is a good one at a great price.

I love the size, the handle is perfect, went thru my dishwasher without any problem! I’m an old southern woman so frying chicken, fish, okra, etc., are a part of my life … instruments that help me achieve great results are soooo! Also great for removing eggs from my steaming pot (foolproof way to prepare “boiled eggs”).
