needle can move
When using the needle it sometimes shoves back inside which is annoying. Overall l think it is good value for money, but no matter how l tighten it, the needle will disappear back inside the handle!

Lock on needle is kind of loose
The lock on the side to keep your needle in place is kind of loose. I don't have strong hands so I had to use my teeth to get it tight

Poor quality, not fit for purpose
This is the second style of punch needle I have ordered from the Milward brand and both have been rubbish. The needle kept sliding back inside the holder, meaning there is no uniform loop length and often does not make the loop. I had to tape it to set the loop size, but even then, this is not ideal. It’s a plastic piece of rubbish, which is not fit for purpose. I will be buying a better brand from now on.

Works beautifully
Works beautifully. A bit more expensive than the original one I ordered from China (which didn't arrive - twice!!!), but at least it arrived. It takes a little bit of practice and you need to make sure it is threaded correctly and that you use the correct needle size for your project. It is not as fast as I thought it would be as you need to re-thread it very often which is a two part job and you need to make a lot of stitches. I also do traditional embroidery and cross stitch and I don't think this is quicker than those. However if you cannot embroider then this is a good option. You need to remember that these stitches will pull out really easily though and it is best to paint the reverse side of your work with PVA glue when you have finished to ensure the stitches are secure.

Needs more nibs
After a few sessions at making something cool and the nib bent and snapped off. I wasn't impressed when I saw that no replacement nibs are available. The spare nib is smaller and useless to me. It is easy to use.
