That said, they also use a horrible amount of power, like this one uses 41 watts CONSTANTLY all day every day of the year. Meanwhile your actual refrigerator in your kitchen will use less because it may draw 150 watts, but only some of the time. For how much I pay in power that works out to like $45 a year in power, and we're on the lower end for per KWh pricing in the nation.That said, a compressor fridge will not fit in this footprint, and costs a bunch more up front anyways. I don't know what the longevity would be like but if you want to leave cold drinks out for the delivery drivers then even with the.substantial power draw this is doing alright.You can also tote it along in your car on a trip with the included 12v adapter though we've never done that. Keep in mind it will also be a 41 watt space heater while running.Versus the Frigidaire competition the handle is much nicer to use. There's no little window, but the window on the competition's is probably a weak spot for energy leakage. We get a couple years out of each one.
