T-Fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Fry Pan came well packaged in large box. The pan is beautiful! It's solid and substantial but not too heavy. The coated surface is typical of a Teflon pan but it has ridges on the bottom for more even heating. I tried it and fried some meatballs and onions. The pan takes a few minutes to warm up but then it does an excellent job cooking everything evenly. Nothing sticks to the surface (yet). The handle is a comfortable rubber like grip that stays cool while the pan is in use.It's also easy to clean. You do have to cure the pan before use by heating the pan up on low and wiping it with vegetable oil. Repeat after 10 cycles in the dishwasher. I'm not going to be putting mine in the dishwasher. It's easy enough to clean with a sponge and detergent in the sink.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.~ Kort

T-fal pulled off some magic voodoo alchemy when they designed this incredible pan. Ive had it for a few months now and it's absolutely the go to pan for everything that i can think of cooking in it.For starters, it has a clever function that lets you know when it's sufficiently hot. The outer red ring in the center of the pan has off color squares that turn the same color as the ring when the pan has properly preheated.That's a great feature on its own, but where the pan truly shines is the hard anodized non stick surface. The pan actually delivers on the non stick promise, to the point of perfection.For instance, i can crack two eggs into the pan without oil, and as soon as they set, they can slide around freely when the pan is tilted. I had cheese from cheeseburgers drip off the side of the patties on to the pan surface, and it lifted up along with the patties when i used a spatula to pull them off.This pan also sears incredibly well. I did two ribeye steaks with butter, rosemary, and garlic (pictured) searing them and basting as i cooked them. The sear came out better than any other non stick pan I've ever tried.The pan came with a nice heavy duty lid, the lid handle is wrapped so doesn't slip or get excessively hot.Cleaning the pan is as simple as wiping it out with a paper or dish towel. I've used wooden and metal utensils while cooking and so far don't see any scratches.Buy this awesome pan. Great Job T-fal!

Great size and fabulous non stick surface that is very easy to clean. I use it practically every day for frying or making dishes with sauces.

I just used this pan, twice. Once I cooked with it and used oil. I noticed how the oil disbursed and so next time I tried cooking an egg without oil. It worked great! That egg just slid around in the pan!I like the construction of it and the look too. The fact that it has a glass lid is the cherry on top!I’m thrilled with this purchase!

Pros:• Excellent non-stick properties• Cooks evenly• Easy clean up• Comfortable handle• Medium weight (not too heavy or too light)This T-fal frying pan cooks food evenly and is truly nonstick. There is virtually no scrubbing needed when washing. The pan is huge and I most often use it to stir- fry & to cook multiple hamburger patties, I can usually fit about 4-5 1/4 pound patties easily.Cons:• Glass lid/cover can be troublesome to cleanThis may be a deal breaker for some. There is a tiny space between where the metal rim and the glass meet that allows liquid & food to accumulate so cleaning & drying takes a little extra work.Things to know from the product handbook: The fry pan is touted as dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended by manufacturer. Be aware that it will not be covered under warranty if its washed in the dishwasher. If you decide to wash in the dishwasher, use of concentrated dishwasher detergent pods/packs should be avoided because it will ruin the nonstick coating. Nonstick spray like Pam is forbidden because it leaves an invisible film that degrades the nonstick coating of the pan and heat levels shouldn’t exceed medium-high. That’s a lot of disclaimers but this is typical with most if not all brands of nonstick cookware.I’ve had this fry pan for seven months now & have followed manufactures recommended care and it’s still like new. Overall the positive points of this T-fal fry pan outweighs the fact that I don’t care for the lid and I’m pleased with the quality especially at this price point. If you’re looking for decent, extra large non stick fry pan in the mid price range then this is a good choice.

I should be a spokesperson for T-Fal! I have used these skillets for years! They don't need replaced often, but I finally had to replace my 12 in last year, the 17 year one had to be retired as it was used more than any skillet in my kitchen. Ever try to make sausage gravy in other non- stick skillets? No way! This one is definitely the one for that. Anything can be cooked in this skillet and rest assured your food won't stick. Clean up is a breeze! I have bought these for family numbers over the years. This particular purchase is for my youngest grandson that just got his first home. He was so excited to get it, he loves to cook! Shopping with him one day, he was trying to pick out a skillet and just wasn't happy with any he saw. So I had this one delivered as a surprise!Everyone, if you haven't used a T- Fal, you are not using the correct skillet or line of cookware!
