Handmade & Handcrafted Rosewood Borders Engraving Wooden Cremation Box/Urns for Human Ashes Adult, Funeral Urn Box (Large : 9" x 5.5" x 4.5" - 180lbs or 72kg, Natural)

For us, this purchase (2 cremation urns) was a matter of planning ahead. This summer we are working hard to make changes to our Funeral File, a binder with easy-to-follow final instructions for a Surviving Spouse and for the daughter who will finally serve as executor. One section of the Funeral File covers last wishes, the how-to for burial arrangements, and the location of the two Hind Handicrafts urns, which are for now stored in a bin in the basement.As to the urn itself, we couldn't be happier. We admire the hand-carving and the craftsmanship. We like the choice of rosewood, which is hard, durable, and beautifully grained. We like the fact that the wood is native to Uttar Pradesh (a sentimental favorite because of our daughter-in-law), where the urns were constructed. We like the glossy finish and the fact that our two urns are slightly different in color. We love the design of the urn. The fact that the sliding panel (held shut with a screw) is on the bottom means that right-side-up the beautifully carved urns are classy. We note that the urns were carefully packaged and arrived in good condition. Finally, we are pleased at the excellent value. (Compare the cost of a casket ($800-$10,000). As responsible parents and grandparents, we seek to avoid extra cost to ourselves and any later cost to our three children. Finding these perfect urns has helped with that.

After an entire day of searching online for the perfect urn for my mother, with a giant headache because all of the negative thoughts kept running in my head. Nothing seemed good enough. Nothing seemed like I was spending enough for the resting place for my mom, yet, all the others were so expensive and out of my budget. I just kept searching and searching and then finally I said, this is insane, just find a box. Something about these boxes just seemed so pretty, simple and stylish at the same time. I was leery because it was insanely budget friendly, but the quality of the box is amazing.They packaged it very, very well. It comes from India so didn't get here in 2 days time but it took about 5-6 days which was fine. The finish on the box has a bit of a strong odor but it is not noticeable after airing it out for a bit. I'm incredibly happy with my pick and even got a compliment from another family at the cremation center when I was picking my mom's ashes up. You won't regret this purchase!

This is a very nice box and a great alternative to an urn. Since she isn't keeping my father's ashes and only needed something for the funeral, my Mother decided to go with the traditional urn instead, so we returned this. But I would definitely recommend it, especially if it is going to be kept. I would definitely prefer this on a mantle.

Measurements were incorrect

The XL rosewood cremation box with golden trim was just what I was looking for. It looks beautiful in my home and exceeded all of my expectations. I liked it so much I contacted the seller to commission a larger companion box. Communications with the seller were very easy and quick and I am thrilled with the special companion box that was made for me. I have ordered three different sizes of these boxes. They are a great value for the money and you won't be disappointed. If you need a special size, don't hesitate to contact them. They are great to work with.

This is simply beautiful. It was just big enough to hold the silk bag of my dogs cremated remains. Not sure if it would be big enough for an adult human, but it's perfect for my dog.

This rosewood ashes box is absolutely beautiful. My Mum IS the most beautiful person inside and out and so this final resting place for her is perfect. You can fit a personalised plaque on top that comes with adhesive backing. I find myself just staring looking at it. It has a lovely sheen and you can see the quality of the wood and workmanship that has gone into this piece. It really adds beautiful decor to any room. Rosewood is very hard wearing too I believe so perfect too if at any point the ashes need to be buried.I just love it and I know my Mum does too!! It's stunning and very cheap for the price paid for the quality of what you get. I highly recommend this item.

La scatola nn e' brutta, anche se dalle foto avevo immaginato un prodotto diverso. Imballaggio perfetto, ma articolo rovinato in un angolo. La cosa peggiore e' l' odore davvero forte ed insopportabile. Inoltre arrivata in ritardo e con €26.54 extra da pagare al corriere x le tasse, senza che mi fosse stato comunicato. avevo scelto questo prodotto x tempi di consegna e x prezzo, ma entrambi erano sbagliati. Deludente!!!!
