Seems to be good quality.
Time will tell if it holds up but it seems like a quality product and it works as described.

Serves the purpose it's designed for.
I'm satisfied with this cable, but I only give "five star" ratings to the absolute best-of-the-best products, so it's getting an "above average" rating. It could be better. The battery clips are good, but require a bit of work to get a good contact on oxidized terminals without a battery brush being used first. And the "cigarette lighter" plug on the opposite end could be slightly deeper and perhaps have some sort of "retaining strap" to help keep the accessory's lighter adapter in place. Those are MINOR quibbles, but are enough to keep it from being a "absolute best of the best" rated device.I bought this for use with a Kensun tire inflator which works very well but tends to "over-draw" my car's dashboard accessory port (blowing fuses out regularly). I chose to bypass my lighter port in my dash and go directly to the battery, rather than replacing the (otherwise nearly perfect) Kensun inflator. For the very first time, I've been able to fully top off the tires on two cars in a single session without losing a fuse! This device is pretty much ideal for this purpose. However, I did notice the cigarette lighter adapter on the inflator pulling out of its socket several times... requiring reinsertion to get the device to work. A better "retention feature" would add a lot to this. And as I said, the clamps are OK but I'm seriously considering replacing them with more robust ones from an old jumper cable set, as they required some "jiggering" before they got a good connection to the vehicle battery I was connecting to. Maybe instead I'll just toss a terminal wire brush into the bag with the compressor, instead. The wire gauge could be larger... doing what I was doing, the wire got pretty warm before I was done. Heavier conductors would be better, though at the expense of increasing storage size and weight. But the conductor size is certainly adequate for doing even the job I did (two cars worth of tires all at once) without being DANGEROUS, and is more than enough for doing all four tires on a single car without any issues whatsoever.

Heavy Duty
I purchased this extension cable for running my 12v fridge in the back of my truck while on a trip. First thing I noticed is the clamps are the same quality as my vehicle battery charger and so is the wire.I clipped the leads to my battery and ran the cord in the gap where the door and quarter panel meet the windshield, then into the cabin. Yes, the door closes on the cord but after a few hundred times opening and closing, it has no indents or scuffs on the insulation.I then ran it along the floor, behind the seat, and out the rear sliding window. With the window closed on the cable, it still shows no sign of wear.I have used it for almost 2 months now and have to say... this is the cable to get. It was well worth the money, and has not failed even after some unforeseen abuse. lol

No place for extra fuse.
Item worked well. Comes with Velcro strap so when not in use it can be rolled up and secured. Company sent extra fuses, “nice touch”. Cord is of decent length and moderate gauge for intended purposes. Battery clips are a bit more flexible than I would like but Early stages of use it preformed well so durability will get a 4 star, and I do like the item.

works fine but adds resistance
If you're using sensitive electronics with these 12v former cigarette lighter sockets, keep in mind that the fact that they are not soldered connections can add resistance, especially in combination with Anderson power poles or other non-soldered connectors.I'm referring specifically to amateur radio applications but there are others which may necessitate a voltage check during use, like astronomy gear, etc.Normal power needs are handled with no problem using this device.

Just as advertised.
Bought this cable to connect to a tire pump that had a short cord. It easily connects to the car battery, works as as desired and is portable, so that it is easily carried in the car along with the pump.

works fine
I bought to connect a 12v Powerchill thermocooler to a marine battery direct to posts, instead of through a car cigarette lighter. Used it last weekend at a farmer's market for 4+ hours and it performed beautifully.
