Gasea 1/2-Inch Shank Top & Bottom Bearing Flush Trim Pattern Router Bit Woodworking Cutter Tool

This was purchased 25/09/2019) which was got in advance of doing some work with it. I never got around to doing the jobs I purchased it for, but thought it would come in handy for a later date.Well I have only just got this out today (3/3/20) to do some clean up work, AND WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED that it's not straight. I put it in my router that is used all the time with no problems, and this bit vibrated so much it wasn't safe to use. I got out my engineers square to check it, and you can see from the picture. The bearing is touching the square at the top and has a 1 - 2 mm gap at the bottom. So I wouldn't buy this bit, but if you do want to chance it get it out as soon as it arrives and check it. I had gone passed me return date, so I can't return it now.

Almost had the posties fingers off when the bit arrived and headed straight to the router..well packaged and arrived on time but unfortunately it was obvious on starting up the router that the bit was ever so slightly off centre/unbalanced and vibrated the router. Pulled out the bit cleaned the shank and collet reinserted and fired it up again with exactly the same result. In all fairness the bit itself looks well made and a feel of the blades told me it had arrived well sharp but unfortunately unusable in this condition. Returned and received full refund.

I needed a profile cutter more the 30mm long but was surprised to find this one much bigger for, to be honest, a silly price.I used this to square 10 metres of 25mm plywood and it’s done a perfect job.It’s an enormous cutter but works a treat. When it wears out I’ll certainly buy another one

Received this product a little late but was pleased with it. Have used it on a soft wood & it performed well, not sure how it will perform on hard wood. I think if used sensibly it will perform ok. I would recommend this product.

I had some reservations about this cutter after reading the reviews. For as long as iv'e been Routing this is the first low price bit that I bought but i was surprised by its performance. It ran without "vibration" made a clean square cut.Iv'e been using it for the most part on Oak and it has worked out well for me.Based on other reviews I would like to think that it's not the luck of the draw when it comes to buying a cutter of this size. (or any size)L.R.

This bit nearly destroyed my router. Imagine 25000 RPM with a not straight bit in the collet!This bit is like a banana, do not even try. Invest some more and buy TREND or BOSCH bits. I'm always trying yo save some money along the way and always ending with the most expensive ones on the market. Never cheap Chinese bits in my woodworking world.

Just go easy - don't cut the entire depth unless you have to, and don't try to take big chunks out of the wood (especially hardwood) and you'll be fine. If you're too aggressive, this'll likely bend and could damage your tools and you.

I have brought two of these now from two different suppliers, BOTH of them are not straight and causes extreme viration in my table router
