Apparently the other reviewers didn't read the product description because this is specifically made for 1U AMD EPYC servers, not for RTX 3090's. I don't get why you would leave a negative review for a product that's specifically made for AMD EPYC servers because it didn't work well for a use case that isn't supported by this. This cooler is perfectly fine and works super well in a 1U server, with powerful fans it can typically go way beyond the rated TDP (even 280W) and cool perfectly fine.

Faulty unit. Vapor chamber came empty evidenced by the fact zero heat came to the fins on the back of a fiery 3090. Memory temps went up with this on the back and became totally unstable.

This thing is just about the perfect size for the backplate of most 3090 models that require some extra cooling. It will cover the two clusters of 4 gddr6x chips and the side cluster of 3 while not obstructing the spot where the remaining single vram chip that can be covered by an alphacool heatsink. According to the kingpin edition's memory sensors, putting one of these on the backplate with a thermaltake thermal pad will keep the back vram around 53 degrees at full throttle stress testing while the front modules will run closer to 85 degrees.

It needs a fan. Otherwise your CPU will throttle/ overheat

This is a great product.Build is very good, a large vapor chamber and solid copper.It works very well.Everything is good for me except the clearance due to my server mother board size.I highly recommend it

Pop the screws off, stick it on the 3090 backplate, have a fan nearby.......profit
