I was disappointed at first because I got a lemon from amazon.... Amazon just send me a clear broken item that doesn't work, but as usual the return policy is always great (the reason we love to shop here). Anyways, let go talk about the product itself.First, its a standalone turntable. Meaning, you can use it to play your vinyl out of the box. It has a speaker that is loud enough for a small room. It does have a volume control according to your liking. The quality of the sound is good for its price. The built quality is good, not expensive looking but its decent wood finished.Lastly, I think its most important feature is being able to record the vinyl content to an mp3 format. As all vinyl has its end eventually, I mean the quality of the sound will eventually decreases due to the scratching from the needle. This is common to any turntable I know. So its a good thing to have to preserve the life of your vinyl records. Its also great to convert those old tracks that can only be found in old formats like this.

It was of no use to me as I could not download the software provided. They provided a mini disk, I don't know who can use them now. My Mac will only take the large CD disk. Went to the web site they recommended for a download, but could not down load on my Mac, as the site is not recognizable. So if you cannot use a mini disk, don't order this product.

I love it the sound quality is pretty good to my standards. Ships fast. Volume is great. To future buyers be careful with the tonearm on any turntable. Always use the life and lower feature as well as the arm lock. And there is no slip mat so make sure you have one before playing records. There is also a replacement needle. And don’t touch the groves of the records so they’ll stay clean

They sent us the wrong color as half of the other reviews on here said they would. We also did not order one with Bluetooth capability but the one we received had it. Infortunately the Bluetooth they sent us on accident didn't even work. I had a Crosley that broke which is why we had purchased this one and the sound on the musitrend was awful. The sound was garbled, quiet, and scratchy. It looks beautiful sitting on your desk but you can get a lot better for the same price with other companies. If you're getting a record player I recommend putting in a little more money and getting a nice one. Do not buy this musitrend.

As with 90% of the others, I ordered wood and got black... TWICE....As for sound quality, the motor is LOUD, but I don’t care I’m using this as a motor to spin records to be cleaned so that I don’t screw up my expensive turntable... Amazon is good about their CS though...

For the price it’s decent but not much beyond that. Sound quality is about what you’d expect at the price point. Fine for my teen’s bedroom but not much beyond that in my opinion. The stain color of the wood is very very yellow, so don’t expect it to blend with most furniture stain colors. The worst thing is the turn table itself has a large amount of wobble in the table, the stylus goes up and down about a quarter of an inch as record plays. Looks like the record is warped. Poor design or quality control on this item, hard to believe this was the intentional design of this product. Doesn’t seem to effect sound but it’s an annoyance nonetheless. Overall it’s OK for the price but that’s about it.

This is a classic player but with modern design, so you can transfer your vinyl records into MP3 and play them on your computer or smartphone, so it is a good way to save your old vinyl records. And I like the transparent cover, so you can avoid the mechanical noise when you play it. If the accessory power line could be longer, it will be perfect.
