Why did you choose this product over others?:Crushes Medication up into a very fine powder with little effort. As someone who struggles with fine-motor skills and is very weak, I am able to turn the hand with ease. And it only need 2-3 rotations of the handle to reduce medication to a fine powder ( I put in 14+ medications at once and this doenst appear to prevent the function of the product)!I was recommended this product from a nurse hospital. I have been using this product for 4 months and it hasn't blocked my feeding tube once. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs medication to be crushed up fine or individuals who struggle with a typical medication crusher (arthritis etc)

Crushes all my tablets in one go, is brilliant and very easy to use. Strong and easy to hold in use not too big for my small hands. I've had 2 now and when this one finally wears out I will buy another one. Not too expensive. Does exactly what it says it does.

This crushes pills no problem, and is relatively easy to clean. The one and only problem I had was it can leave a lot of crushed pill powder on the grinding wheels, and if you are dealing with very small pills, I would say it's likely you will lose a lot of the pill stuck to the grinder, so I'd only suggest using this if it's not 100% crucial that you get every bit of the pill. Yeh you can dismantle it and brush some off the mechanism, but then that just becomes impractical. So it's a good grinder, but just wasn't going to work for my application, so I just ended up going the traditional way and bought a stainless steel morta and pestel, and that works perfectly.

It worked well for one week, did its job really well, and I thought that finally I had found the answer to my pill crushing problems. Not so!!! After one week it started taking more and more time to crush the same amount of medication, and at the end it didn't do anything at all.I am so horribly disappointed! It happens sometimes that you buy an item on Amazon that's damaged, or has some problems which usually Amazon solves with refunds or replacements fast. but this time I feel that I have been conned. CONNED! These people must be aware that this item stops working after a very short while, I have since read many reviews similar to mine, and still they continue to sell it. Disgraceful. Taking advantage of sick people, what else can I say???

The grinder works well, and is robust. However, the base section has a very narrow groove around the base, which traps a quantity of ground pills. I recommend that users grind over another receptacle. Poor design.

I use it four times a day to convert all my medications into powder before feeding them through a NJ tube. This product is certainly worth the extra cost. Recently discharged from the hospital after a prolonged stay, I observed nurses using less efficient hand twist models. This pill crusher has proven to be a significant time-saver. It can be adjusted to produce a fine powder, which is crucial for my needs.In addition, I suffer from ME, and repetitive tasks often cause discomfort in my fingers. However, this device is user-friendly and allows for easy handling. The ergonomic handle design allows for comfortable use, and I appreciate the flexibility it offers. Without hesitation, I would purchase this product again. A less expensive alternative would not suffice for my medication needs through a feeding tube. This pill crusher is an excellent investment, providing great value for the price.
