I use this on my biracial daughter's curly 3b-3c hair when it's tied back, and it works very well. She's 6 and very active and rough, rolls around and pulls things over her head and messes up her hair, so this doesn't last perfectly all day, but given the rough treatment, it still lasts surprisingly well, and better than other products I've tried. By the end of the day, there are some stray hairs sticking out, but the majority of them are still held in place. If I slick the hair down with a boar's hair brush and really work the product in and smooth it out when applying, it lasts longer. If I get lazy and don't work it in as well... not so much.What I really love about this product is that it's not greasy or flaky. Everything else I use on her hair, I have to scrub my hands with dish soap afterwards to get the slipperiness off (including Shea Moisture products), but this one, I just rinse with water and my fingers are squeaky. And no residue of any kind on her hair. I'm very happy with it.

Holds well and leaves the hair feeling conditioned.

Very good. I've gone natural and have been for the last two years. Applying this to my head, it will only tame my edges for a few hours. If I don't wear a scarf until it dries, my hair will just curl right back up. However, I have also used this when my hair was relaxed. It lasted all day. So depending on whether your hair is relaxed or now plays a big role.

Disappointed, though It's my own fault. I have to stop watching Youtube reviews. It does nothing for edges. Whatever holding power it has wears off in a couple of hours. Never again.

It's not my favorite product but it's not terrible. I've tried many other edge tamers. A few are better than this. For the price though it's worth a shot.

I like the product for how it holds my hair in place. It has a pleasant smell and it shines your hair.

This product smells great and produces lots of shine, but no good whatsoever, which is what I needed. I don't be purchasing this product again.

Was not a big fan of this product. Did not do much for my edges. Makes the edges soft but the hold does not stay.

Keeps edges, no white residue.
