Q: Hi, can you tel me size of the shelf? what is the hight of the shelf from the floor? distance from shelf to top of frame?

Shelf will comfortably fit a DJ controller and laptop stand or flight case..I am using my Accu Case VMS4 Road-Case with laptop shelf which I have to lift slightly to extend out over the booth but no issue there nice and steady and good workspace..I am 5'7 and the shelf is just up to below my chest so a nice working height.

Q: What is the length in feet from left to right?

Approx 3 1/2 Feet. Fits our karaoke laptop 15 1/2", mixer approx 12", and still spare room.

It depends on what fitting connection the laptop holder has, although a laptop stand would fit neatly in the corner on the shelf itself
