No problems at all. Super easy to use — just plug it in and it works. Great solution for switching between two devices without any setup hassle. Would definitely recommend if you need a simple Ethernet splitter.

It's ok
It was ok feel like service was noticably slower but still fast enough for 2 to work from home and my son stream. We have EPB so it is one of the fastest internets in the US. So may not be enough with other services

CAPUP Ethernet Splitter 1 to 2: Sharing is Caring (With a Few Catches)Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsFor: Budget-minded users needing quick and simple network expansion, home office environments, connecting low-demand devicesAgainst: Performance limitations, potential reliability issues, limited featuresPerformance: 3 out of 5 starsThe CAPUP Ethernet Splitter promises gigabit speeds for two connected devices. While it delivers decent throughput for basic internet browsing and streaming, heavy data transfer tasks or online gaming can reveal its limitations. Expect potential speed drops, especially when both ports are actively transferring data. Additionally, long cable lengths (beyond 100 meters) can further impact performance.Ease of Use: 5 out of 5 starsThis splitter is plug-and-play simplicity at its finest. Just connect your existing Ethernet cable to the input port, plug your devices into the two output ports, and you're good to go. No software configuration or complicated setup required.Features: 4 out of 5 starsThe splitter boasts a compact design and USB-powered operation, making it a convenient and portable solution. However, compared to higher-end switches, it lacks features like VLAN support, priority queuing, or traffic management.Value: 4 out of 5 starsFor its affordable price, the CAPUP splitter offers a quick and easy way to expand your network for basic needs. However, considering potential performance limitations and the lack of advanced features, it might not be the best choice for demanding users or complex network setups.Things to Consider:Performance: Don't expect true gigabit speeds under heavy load or with long cable lengths.Reliability: Some user reports suggest potential dropouts and connectivity issues in specific setups.Limited Features: No advanced features like VLANs or traffic management for more complex network needs.Final Verdict:The CAPUP Ethernet Splitter is a budget-friendly solution for simple network expansion in home or office environments. Its ease of use and compact design make it convenient for connecting low-demand devices. However, keep in mind its performance limitations under heavy load or with long cables, potential reliability issues, and the lack of advanced features. If you need a quick and basic network expansion without breaking the bank, the CAPUP splitter might be a suitable option. But for demanding users or complex setups, consider investing in a higher-end switch with better performance with extra features

High rate of DOA and issues, but a good one seems good & the vendor is responsive and helpful
Initially gave 1 star because the first one was dead on arrival (DOA). No lights, nothing. It was not the cable, we tried different ones.It only has a 30 day return window so if you're buying this, make sure you're ready to test it to check for DOA units (and not dealing with lost packages at your apartment and moving) or plan on buying a second one already, otherwise you'll have to contact the vendor directly. There's a reason multiple reviews say things like "the replacement was good!" because there is clearly a high rate of failures and issues.BUT: the vendor reached out to offer a refund to retry a new unit even though I was outside of the window of return, so that definitely raised my review significantly to see that the company actually cares, so at least 3/5 stars.AND - the second one works and works great. No issues. I'd give it 5/5 if it wasn't for the first unit. the metal enclosure is nice, it's simple, it's small, and the speeds are still great. It works with any generic 5V charging adapter, it doesn't take a ton of power.I hope they can find a way to test these boards prior to putting them in the enclosures and shipping them out, there's clearly something going on in quality control.I'd still recommend the product as long as the company continues to be responsive and helpful.
