What we wanted
Very happy so far with this, it's been installed for several weeks now and the battery seems to be lasting well. It was not too tricky to set-up, took my time reading it and checking height and angles for set-up.The app is easy enough to navigate and use. Not had many doorbell calls to answer yet, but it seems to work well.

Great Reolink product, does not record 24/7 to an NVR
The build quality feels really good and it doesn't appear cheap and tacky. I can connected the doorbell relatively easy to the Reolink app. That's quite a good range of view from the camera however it does make the image quite a fisheye lens in appearance.I connected the doorbell to my Wi-Fi and found the doorbell on my NVR system. It does record to the nvr as well as the home base option and SD card. The only problem I found is that it doesn't record 24/7 and only records when motion is activated. The other issue I faced was that when it was linked to my echo show it was intermittent as to whether the footage would load. The other problem I found is that when the footage loaded on my echo show and I tried to answer the doorbell on my phone it would state I could only talk via one app at a time. This is probably just a software issue and I've explained this to Reoink support services so I'm confident it will be fixed in an update in the near future.

Reolink doorbell WiFi version.
Easy to install, easy to read and understand the information booklet. I have given the doorbell battery a full charge prior to mounting. I was concerned at first that a thief might find it easy to remove the device but in the booklet tells yo how to release the device from bracket, don't loose the tool inside the box, as this is needed to help remove the device. On setting up the device for the first time, the device asks you for WiFi address and password followed by setting up the individual device password for extra security. The quality of the build is very strong and robust. Good sound and video quality on playback. On playback mode you can filter for either; vehicles, people and parcels. PIR detection is really good for motion detection. On night time playback on black and white video, really good quality.Overall really good doorbell, really quick at response time from the camera detection of a vehicle, person or parcel to the Reolink app and video calling through the app.I brought this on a really good deal, so for me value for money is really good.Highly recommend this device.

Not a video doorbell, just a camera sending notifications!
I bought this to replace my Ring doorbell following the hiking of their monthly charge. As I have numerous Reolink cameras connected to a Reolink NVR it made sense to get a Reolink video doorbell, big mistake! My idea of a video doorbell is one that 'rings' the phone when the button is pressed - allowing the user to immediately connect with the caller and see them on the screen. This doorbell will only send a basic push notification to the phone, which the user must then interact with to get it to open the Reolink app and connect the video stream. Yes - it can send a 'rich' notification (just a basic notification with a picture) if you subscribe to their monthly plan.Functionality is then reduced even further if the doorbell is connected to NVR, meaning to get the best out of it one has to run it as a standalone camera and use a MicroSD card in the camera for recording events. If Reolink make a doorbell that 'rings' the phone when the doorbell is pressed (as most other video doorbell's do) then I may try it again, but for now it's being returned as unsuitable.

First and last purchase of Reolink doorbells.
When this works it is nice and usable, integrates well with the NVR and cloud subscription.I had togive it only 3 stars due to bad customer support, not something I expected of Reolink since I am a customer of their other standalone camera products, which function nicelly and I will still purchase going forward. But this camera doorbell has software issues and Reolink support do not care in resolving the drop out, connectivity issues, and blame my phone.
