Great kitchen item
It does exactly what it is designed to do, it’s a basic design but really works well. Personally I was looking for something a little smaller regarding storage but the reviews were good so thought I would try it. Very pleased with the product, you can rinse the fruit/salad leaves, etc pour away the water & spin, it’s so quick & the items are pretty dry, and the container is so easy to clean. A good item to have 👍

nice multifunction salad spinner/measuring jug
a bit larger then i expected but thats probably my fault. Was supprised at how expensive salad spinners can get! Like the multi function aspect of the product and use the jug by itself. It also can be used as a measuring jug as had ml marked (but only in large intervals). the spinner part works well but personal preference would like something a bit more robust (apprecite i am a fussier then your average person). Easy to use and clean and wouldnt mind purchasing again.

Not only a salad spinner also a measuring jug
The media could not be loaded. A really useful dual purpose salad spinner which can also be used as a measuring jug.It comes in three parts; the plastic jug with measurements on the side, a green basket to put lettuce etc in and the lid which has a green spinner which you just need to turn to remove the water from your lettuce.I have also used it to clean strawberries and blueberries by filling the jug with water and placing the fruit in the green basket and letting the fruit sit a while before taking the basket out (without spinning!)A very handy gadget and I would recommend.

Handy gadget
This is a good salad spinner that we’ve used now for nearly two weeks flawlessly. The Spinner arrives in a nondescript cardboard box, inside the spinner is wrapped in plastic. The spinner is multipurpose as there are markings on the outer plastic so that it can be used as a measuring jug. The spinner has a 2.5L capacity which we found as enough for a small family. The spinner is satisfying to use, the spin is very low friction meaning you don’t need to give too strong a turn in order to spin the salad. The drainer sits above the bottom of the jug meaning water drains from the salad and then can be poured away after use. We found that this didn’t completely dry out washed salad but spinning for a minute or two did dry it out enough. One niggle was that the plastic used for the jug could have been higher quality. The edge of the jug was not smooth as I would have expected from a finished product, though we did not encounter any issues during use.The product listing page is broken at time of review so I am unaware of how much this product is selling for currently but I would recommend this product at around £20 if it were available today. If you eat a lot of salads or vegetables that need washing before use this is recommended!

An upgrade
My last salad spinner was big, bulky and spilled everywhere when trying to drain the water out. This is far more compact easy to pour out water. I can soak fruits and veggies in apple cider vinegar for 20 minutes to remove any mould, coating and make them last longer.Lightweight, easy to clean holds more than I initially anticipated and doesn't take up much space. The pour spout and handle make is perfect for daily use. Would repurchase, however I'm sure it will last me a long time.

My salad was still wet after spinning
The best thing about this is that it's also a jug. Too often, salad spinners sit in the cupboard, taking up space, but I can use this in general cooking and baking too. What's really handy, is the measurements, especially with the addition of the US ones. They are the same colour as the jug, which makes them hard to see though. The rim of the jug doesn't have the best finished look, but it is smooth all the way round. As there were no instructions, I put two handfuls of salad in to the jug and filled it to about 2/3 of the way with water. This was far too much to spin with and so I reduced it to just under half, but even so, water came out of the spout. Hence, I found it best to spin the salad in the sink. There were quite a few grainy bits at the bottom of the jug and only a handful of small leaves poked through the bucket. After emptying the water, I spun the leaves again. Even so, they were still very wet and I needed to dry them down by hand.
