Parental oversight suggested
This is a really cute kit with lots of materials to make some fun string art. However, it's probably best suited to an older child who can figure out how to use it on their own. Otherwise, you are going to need to provide a lot of parental oversight and help. There are lots of little pieces, mainly the pegs that don't come preinstalled. I've been finding them ALL over my house. The string is a nice quality and there is a wide variety of colors. It took some training to show my 6-year-old how to use it and, in the end, I don't think she really grasped the full idea so it wasn't as fun for her. I'd definitely recommend this for someone just a little bit older.
