This might be the softest thing I own. Pro: holds your head like advertised. The “wake for food” patch works. It is very lightweight and if you don’t fold it up like designed but fold it flat, it slides into your backpack’s laptop sleeve effortlessly. Easily the most compact neck pillow I’ve owned, and I’ve had about 6. Cons: Neck pain is not completely eliminated. You can get neck pain for holding your head still and erect, too. But it’s the best solution so far. At some point I’m going to forget the part that straps to the seat back. I use a pair of over the ear headphones when I sleep on planes and it barely covers them (Beats 3). Having to take the whole contraption off if someone asks you a question or if you need to get up because the person in the window seat needs to use the restroom is much more difficult than a traditional neck pillow.Bottom line: 8/10, wholeheartedly endorse. Would buy again.

It is easy to set up. Once the holding piece attach to the head rest, put your eyemask and rest head on the head rest, then attach them together. That is it. My head stayed up, not moving left or right. The trick is when you buckle the holding piece, adjust it to your position. I have to adjust it a couple times. It works better using it with neck pillow. Without it, I felt like my neck was forced to stay up (duhh it is alway up!) and feel stiff after a while. I guess pillow helps support my neck and head holder support my head. Perfect!!

As far as helping keep my head from bouncing on the flights, it was okay, but not as stable as I had hoped. As far as adding more comfort to a 12-hour flight, it did help with the comfort, and the wrap-around eye mask helped me sleep.One tip is to securely fasten the steps to the headrest before you sit down.

It is less "robust" than I anticipated. I'd have to supplement it with a neck pillow, I assume, if I want neck support. It did arrive without the Velcro attachable signs for the flight attendants. I assume I could ask for those to be sent, but I'm planning to return it. I do not know if it would maintain head support.

Looked good out of the box---headrest had comfy gel support, great velcro stick, but absolutely junk eye cover piece. The foam part that is supposed to surround the eyes and bump out to give the eyes space to rest uncompressed was so thin and flimsy that you can feel all the pressure on your eyes when strapped in. Worse yet, wash it once and that foam "shape/contour" disappears altogether into a warp mess inside the cover. It was one thin layer of foam cutout, not a gel that retains its shape. All they had to do was make an eye cover piece as good as the headrest, which was more complicated to make, and they would've had a great product. Why skimp on a simpler piece? Returned it.

First you feel a little different because people are watching you strap on the backing attachment to your headrest; you need to do this before you sit down. It's impossible to attach this while you are sitting down and have the seat belt on. Then you put on your noise reduction headphones (not included!). Finally you put this mask on and then sit back and attach the backing attachment to the back of your mask on each side.Your head will not bobble up and down and depending on how firm you attached everything, your head will not turn to the right or left and crank your neck. The mask is soft and blocks out light.TDLR; this thing WORKS! It is amazing and you can sleep for hours with it. It beats those pillows and you can carry it around in a small bag. Worth the money!
