OMG.....right out of the box! Just got this today, it was fully charged. I got the app and got connected to my wifi. So I wanted to do a rather large chicken breast. Used the app and under chicken breast I picked the Chiefs Choice. I'm using a air fryer and was so nice to not have to stop, check temp several times. I just put it in AF and when the app told me to remove from heat I did.....and let it rest until it told me it was ready. I'm here to say, the meat was tender and juicy dare I say perfect! My wife was so pleased she said let's have that again tomorrow night.I'll admit I was a little nervous but I just trusted the device and rolled the dice and was rewarded with the best chicken breast I've ever cooked or eaten.....So if you're on the fence about this little jewel.....jump off and grab this up!One thing I did notice was the ambient temp in my air fryer was almost 20 degrees higher than when I set the air fryer too.....Only time will tell how this device holds up, but I feel if it only lasts a single year I'd feel like I got my money's worth. Think of the meals and the relaxed feeling of cooking those meals knowing your proteins are cooked to perfection. It's a little bit like having a little chef on your shoulder and you getting all the credit!

No more checking the temp and opening the lid letting heat out. I just did a fabulous pork but low and slow and was checking it even though I was gone most of the day. It’s Bluetooth and WiFi capable which is so cool. It gives battery status for the probe and the reader in the app. Easy to use. Just be aware the probe tip and the black line toward the other end have to be completely inside the meat you’re cooking. It’s very accurate and makes me feel better when I do a brisket overnight. This is also a much better price than some of the other ones but to me it’s just as good. Love this thing!

Used this immediately to smoke a 10 pound pork shoulder butt which came out absolutely beautiful could not have been happier with the thermometer. It sat in there for roughly 18 hours at a 250° smoker for that whole time. The product came fully charged ready to go. There were no issues connecting it to my Wi-Fi my phone anything the app was amazing it alerted me anytime the temperature went down below my ambient setting or if it went up above my ambient setting it has so many features that just amazed me.

This is the best remote thermometer I've bought. It's simple, accurate, affordable and compact. I use it as a stand alone. No smart phone needed thank you. If I ever need another, I'll replace it with this same unit.
