These lights are controlled by the remote via infrared like a tv remote.Easy installation. Remote works great. Very bright.I love that they have multiple color options, including a standard white light, that are dimmable as well.

While Alexa adds these bulbs, it does not have the basic feature of turning the bulbs off and on. This totally defeats the point. I tried both the MOES app, as well as the Smart Life. Both apps detect the bulbs and can power them off and on, and both have Alexa skills, however, there is no way from within Alexa to turn the bulbs off, which was one of the main reasons I purchased these bulbs.Moreover, 1 of the 4 bulbs arrived with the bottom prongs bent and pushed-in. While I was able to eventually plug it into the UL-10 socket, it took a lot of tries.Finally, to get either/or the MOES or Smart Life to detect the bulbs, one must remove the bulb from the socket, quickly scan its QR code in setup, then quickly put it back in the socket -- all before the setup process times-out. This sounds easier than it really is, as UL-10 bulbs are notoriously difficult to engage in their sockets - more so in my use case, as they were supposed to be used in uplighting tubes.I absolutely do not recommend this product.I am returning it.

below is my previous review. The company reached out to make things better and honestly that gesture is enough. I'm a big boy and i can handle projects that are challenging but this company just won a now loyal customer. I will stick to this one comment: multiple times I was instructed to scan the QR code. Cool got it. However each bulb has one on the box and two in the instructions but the code on the lamp itself is the one that matters. Just a note somewhere to help differentiate between the codes would have been a huge help. They are in and installed and hooked up to Alexa and I'm thrilled with the bulbs and the customer service. Hey Moes!! what can I buy from you next? Let's do this!All documentation in the box, on the box, the app and online all have the worlds smallest font sizes. Very difficult to read. Lots of white space and tiny tiny tiny tiny font sizes. Ridiculous.

I really wanted to like these bulbs. I wish I could give them 5 stars. Unfortunately, they just miss mark. Set-up was pretty easy, for those having trouble Scan the QR code that is physically ON the blub and you should be fine. The problems lie with responsiveness to apple home kit. They often take forever to change color and often times only one or 2 bulbs will respond. DONT even think about turning them off at the wall switch as they will take a ridiculous amount of time to come back online. I also had a MAJOR problem when turning them off through HomeKit. They would 90% of time turn right back on and even flicker. Even though they were supposed to be off. The price is very attractive but remember YOU GET what you pay for. The only reason I give them 2 stars is price point as they can work in a pinch if you don't want to spend and exorbitant amount on a GU10 bulb. The color range is just okay. My suggestion is pay the extra and buy a Phillps HUE if you already are invested in that ecosystem. Hope this helps.

The lightbulb was easily detectable, though I hate how you have to remove the light bulb from the socket to scan the QR code - they should include an extra code sticker inside the box for convenience. This light bulb gets hot quickly, so having to remove it several times when it needs to be re-synced via Matter (SmartThings hub) is a pain. Plus, why is an LED getting hot so quickly in the first place? Is this a potential danger hazard? Time will only tell how long this bulb will last, but for now, it functions as expected. Color temperatures, including true warm white and RGB spectrum is very nice! Plus, this is one of the few smart GU10 bulbs available that is Matter-certified.

I'm happy with this purchase. These are incredibly bright. I bought used ones. They came in a zip lock bag with no instructions or box. At first I thought who ships light bulbs without a box. Once on tho, I'm impressed. As far as longevity in a ceiling fan fixture...I dunno, but for now they work. Colors are bright. They are dimmable and work with Alexa

Setting the lights up was pretty easy as I’ve owned countless similar smart home LED lamps over the years. Unfortunately these are probably the most inconsistent lamps that I’ve ever owned. I linked the MOES app to my Google Home account but, unfortunately, I do not have the ability to dim or change the color of the lights with Google Home - it allows on/off control only. I do have the ability to control dimming and color with the MOES app. The biggest problem is the functionality of these lamps. Sometimes they all work as intended but the majority of the time 15-20% of the lamps show as Offline and do not respond to either the MOES app or Google Home. This is extremely frustrating to deal with on a daily basis so I intend to return these lamps. It’s a shame because I’m happy with the color consistency and output - I just wish that they function as they were designed.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
