So far it’s great! Easy to pair and get started.Helpful note: only have 1 Bluetooth connection. I was on a call after the car was shut off and when I came back to the car and turned it on there was some glitches trying to connect to the adapter. I think the car was trying to switch back and forth to the Bluetooth connection I previously had on the car and the wireless adapter (I had both Bluetooth setup and wired CarPlay; so when my CarPlay wasn’t working or if my cord broke I could still use Bluetooth).Here’s what I did: I disconnected/forgot my device in iPhone settings for that original BT connection in my car so it would only recognize the wireless adapter. Then while on the phone with the car off I turned the car back on and it works now seamlessly!

Easy-to-follow instructions assured perfect first-try CarPlay functionality in my 2024 Ford Maverick Lariat (it still puzzles me why Ford's top-of-the-line trim requires a wired connection when el-cheapo cars I sometimes rent can easily handle wireless CarPlay connectivity *shrugs*). One recommendation: while this kit includes a USB-A to USB-C adapter, my dash location prompted me to buy a 90° USB-A adapter (despite the unit being quite small the installation looks cleaner pointing down rather than out). Connected quick and easy. Sound was not great until I did a firmware upgrade. The instructions for the upgrade were pretty straight forward. The only drawback is the size of the adapter. It sticks out further than I’d like especially if I use the USB-C adapter. I may remedy it with a usb extension cable and Velcro it somewhere out of the way.
