The humidífier connector clearly has holes on the cable connector and the orifice it sits in does as well for screws or something to fasten the connector to the unit. Instead it was just hanging there. As soon as I tried to connect it the thing fell into the hole where the wire comes thru and detached from the wire. Upon inspection it was barely soldered on. Really not worth 100$. Someone is making a mint jacking up the resale of this product. It does not seal completely . Something this simple for 100$ should really be built to last. This was a typical temu piece of crap. WHERE IS THE USA only filter! Think about it Amazon we proud patriots want it or we will stop buying your products.

You have to assemble the humidifier but it is simple. The connection to the atomizer is magnetic. I wiped everything with isopropyl alcohol to prevent contamination. The plastic tray for the fungi is large enough to fit the starters from Back to the Roots/BloomBox or roughly 3lbs of your favorite substrate. MUST BE USED IN A CLEAN ROOM. It is not airtight. If a fly gets to your precious it's game over.

It's not the best quality but it works and the price is reasonable. There aren't control buttons but it keeps consistent temp and humidity. Once I bought this I had my first successful mycelium grain spawn from spores after 2 weeks. 2 more weeks and it'll be ready to mix. There are lights on the inside for when your ready for the first flush. If I'm successful on the flush, I'll be buying another one. Even if I get a couple uses out of it, it pays for itself. If the quality were better it would get 5 stars.

Like the title suggests. It’s very cheap.The plastic on mine was warped so the trip is bent down. Drives me a little nuts but it’s whatever as long as it gets the job done.What annoyed me is the water pump and humidifier were disassembled and there are a few different pieces. It doesn’t seem hard but some instructions would be nice to ensure it’s being done right.Will update after I attempt to grow out of it.Update 10/18/24:- I still haven’t used it. It’s too small, once you spawn and mix with substrate you’re looking at very small area to work with. Perhaps the mason jar spawns. But then I’d just go with the shroomcube if I were using those. Much easier to just build your own chamber to be honest. You’ll end up doing it anyways with the extra substrate and spawn you’ll have. It’s like a 1lb capacity lol.However if you buy those spawn blocks ready to go, it’s probably well worth it. Not really ideal for magic ones though. Save your moneyUpdate 5/6/2025:- I have since taken it completely apart and put it back together in a larger tub. It worked decent and laid groundwork to upgrading and learning about microcontrollers. However this is expensive just to learn something like that. I'd suggest building your own and buying an ESP32 kit and piecing one together. The kits have prewritten code for monitoring humidity and temperature out of the box. Good luck growmies!

You can’t grow mushrooms in it! The idea is great, but seems to have the humidity source too close to the mushrooms and mushrooms don’t grow well in it. Also, it needs a USB-C power supply that is high amperage. You’re old IPhone charger won’t do it.

I love it. It's simple, but the design is great and works perfectly so far. I've seen a (very) similar one that sells for $369, so this is a steal! uh, I mean deal!! lol. Actually, I shouldn't say that because I don't know who came first and there are slight differences from the other one I've seen. Even if you sourced this from the mfr, between the cost and shipping, you end up with this same price ($98), but 4 weeks shipping. Waiting for my oyster mushrooms now and it looks great!!

This system is not optimized to grow mushrooms. It dried out two of my bricks and I got a 1/10th of expected yield. The system cannot maintain adequate humidity, the lights aren’t programmable, no temp control. The enclosure is cheap and does not seal well. The power adapter melted. Cheap Chinese junk.

I was extremely happy with this product but it wasn't quite what I needed. Please consider modifying the controls. Maybe humidity control instead of just a display mode. Overall this item was amazing and I highly recommend 👌 ten out of ten I would purchase again.
