It’s designed for gentle use. I predict weather will age the plastic. If you are nice to it, it should last.

Do not buy.
Clothesline broke on first use - the line separated from the clip and cannot be reattached because the clip is made from soft metal and broke. I had hung less than ten pieces of children’s clothing when it broke. Cheap and low quality. Do not buy.

Works well. Needs a nail polish mark to show how far to pull out before locking
Well done.Could use a mark to make pulling out and locking the cord easier....Just pull out to the mark, wrap around post, pull tight, hook.

Broke apart after 5 uses
Easy to install. Worked great at first, but when I used 5th time it came apart at the seam. I pushed it back together but now it will not retract the line and keeps coming apart. Very disappointed because I prefer to hang my laundry outdoors.
