We use this on our Gazibo and it works great. Not sure how one could make it easier to use than this one. Use it all the time and when we want to use the Gazibo, we just retract it. Takes longer to take the clothespins off than it does to retract. Only gave it four stars since everything can be better, just not sure how this product can be improved.

I got this to replace one that was 10 years old. I use it mainly to air dry my king size mattress covers, but it comes in handy for beach towels, or anything you don't want to put in the dryer. Comes with screws and wall plugs so you can mount it just about anywhere, just remember to wind the line around the bottom to hold it tight. wish the line was a bit thicker but that might interfere with the winding mechanism.

Have it over a year now. Still using it and remains in good condition. I only use it inside. Holds a number of clothes without stretching.

We just moved to a new house with a large covered patio that enjoys a direct west-facing orientation. I have waited years to be able to hang my clothes (especially sheets and blankets) outside to dry! Because our home doesn't allow for permanent clothes lines, the fact that I can retract the line and remove the whole thing is perfect. It holds blankets and towels, wet swimsuits, etc. The key is to hang it high enough that as the weight of the clothes pull the line down a little, they don't touch the ground. I love it!

easy to use in my basement which is heated. I use for my sons work out clothes, sweaters and some of his slacks which can not go in the dryer. it is retractable so that is convenient when not in use. I am really hoping it holds up with use.

It works great but I wish the method to secure the line tight were better. It takes a few tries each time to get it tight enough to not let the line sag. Something more like an iron or measuring tape lock would be awesome.

It says it can hold the heaviest laundry but that isn’t true. So I overloaded it and the knot pulled out of the hole inside. Also the hole in the plastic broke. Completely my fault. Up to this time though it worked beautifully and easily. I miss it but needed to get a hard line to attach to trees in my yard.

This is the FIRST clothesline I have purchased and it rules. Really sturdy and the line is some strong soft plastic. SUMMER IS COMING~ I prefer to hang my clothes outside, they smell so good from the air and sun. Easy to install, just screw to a wall and a hook on the other end. Clothes line will be tight when you loop it around bottom spool on the metal plate. Seriously a solid helpful thing.
