70/10 MFD Replaces Both 440 and 370 Volt Round Run Capacitors Dual Capacitor TradePro 70 + 10

I appreciate Amazon's prompt delivery. We received the unit about 6 hours before the expected delivery time. I placed the unit (capacitor) into my outdoor HVAC system, replacing a Supco run capacitor that died after one summer season. I did a lot of research into HVAC systems before settling on replacing the capacitor by myself. Turns out, the AC repair people over the past few years have created a Frankenstein setup in my outdoor system. I have a separate 7.5 uF capacitor for the fan, and now this TradePro dual run capacitor is my backup in addition to handling the compressor. Works well.

Fast shipping and was a stocked item so had our AC up and running 15 minutes after UPS dropped it off. My original capitictor was a 70/7.5 but there is no problem using a 70/10 for my application. Only issue was original capitictor was slightly larger diameter but a few shims (beer can) wrapped around made quick work of taking up slack... and what joy to hear everything kick on and run - mama's feeling cool again!

I got the capacitor a day earlier than originally promised. Swapped it out on the A/C unit in 15 minutes and everything has worked fine since. Saved a couple hundred dollars vs having a professional do it.

We bought this to replace the blown capacitor in our 6 year old Ruud A/C and heat pump. Nobody had this 70-10 model locally. This one was a bit shorter than the original, but the numbers were correct and the connectors were correct and nicely labeled. We zip tied it into place to compensate for the height difference.

Capacitor lip was a little smaller than the original, so I had to fabricate a washer to keep the new capacitor from slipping through the mounting hole. Other than that, the fan and compressor start and run perfectly.

We needed this for our AC unit out here in AZ. Nobody would sell us one in person so luckily we were able to find it here and very cheap. We fixed the AC and it's been running great!
