Great new take on old classic
This Trap Jaw is a fantastic figure! So well done with a tone of different parts. You can change between the more vintage toy looo and also the concept look with the metal jaw. Figure has great paint apps, tight joints and is so much fun to pose.

Fantastic sculpt, good paint application and accessories
Really excellent.Haven't collected much in the way of modern MOTU until recently, but this figure is much more comparable to other toy lines than I was expecting from Mattel. Far more detail and articulation than the simpler 'origin' line figures, and much more on a par with things like Marvel Legends or McFarlane at their best. Doesn't feel like there's any scrimping on paint application, the number of appropriate ops make it feel premium, and the sculpt is beautifully ugly and well engineered with a decent array of accessories and an appreciated gimmick with the swappable jaw. Decent durometer choices. Probably my favourite interpretation of Trap Jaw in toy form I've seen (possibly barring the £200+ Mondo release), moreso than the one based on the Netflix show, certainly more than the retro versions, and even more than the excellent 'Classics' release. Absolutely reminiscent of the original, but slightly re-imagined with a more modern lens, while losing nothing of what feels like the original intent nor veering too far into something else entirely. Just the right level of updating and the balance of what I'd like from the 'New Eternia' sub line is exactly right. No outrageous liberties, but not an almost unecessary reproduction of the original either.MOTU distribution isn't ideal in the UK (at all!), so this is slightly overpriced at £30 (rather than the $22 plus tax it would be in the US), and lots of Masterverse figures usually hang around and get reduced in price because of that initial high cost here (the market, in this economy in particular, just isn't there for the current full prices of most action figures now, they're pricing out the audience, hence the constant sales and the masses of unsold stock) - But this character and interpretation seems like one of the very few that has been selling out; so I'm glad to have picked it up while I could.Recommended.

Trap Jaw
Great update to a classic toy. I had the original in the 80's.

Not happy about the quality
On his chest there is dry glue, doesn't come off, just not nice at all.
