Q: Can someone confirm the weights of each ladder? It says the 19ft ladder is only 13 pounds but says the 17ft ladder is 25 pounds. Is this true?

I don't know the exact weight, but both are very heavy. If you are an oldster like I am, you might even need some help toting it around. It looks to be made of aluminum and folds up to about (I'm eyeballing it here) 3' x 2' x 1' (h x w x d). Of course, it all depends upon what it is made of (aluminum is much lighter thqn steel). Q: Can you balance on the steps easily?

Yes, Its a lite weight ladder but stable. Would not stand on top step.
