Awesome!
Easy to mix and very mobile. Keep it out of the sunlight and always use distilled water to make the solutions!!

Love!!
I love this cyanotype solution!! I used this during the entirety of my last printmaking semester and a little bit went a long way! I coated about 100 sheets of paper of various sizes with this solution to use for prints and I still had so much left over. I also used it on tote bags as well. Definitely would repurchase in the future.

this is kool
I loved doing cyanotype prints when I was young and I want to try to do a shirt with it I was little confused by the packaging when I received it that the chemicals are dry and you need to add water to the bottles and let them sit ( which I think is great they cant leak during shipping) I read some other reviews that says you have to buy additional chemicals to use it do they mean "water" to mix and "hydrogen peroxide" to help develop the prints not sure what they mean cause the chemicals of the kit are dry in the bottles u mix with water then wait then u mix the 2 parts together paint on your substrate in a dark room let dry them to use you place items on the project and set in the direct sun for a while (best to do a test first to get the time right) and the rinse with water and hydrogen peroxide until the water is clear let dry there are a lot of videos on utube on how to do it

Great product! First time cyanotype :) Light source matters.
Added the specified amounts of water to each bottle, then mixed equal parts in a jar. Painted it on various papers with the sponges, let dry in a dark closet, then put the in the light. rinsed them in the sink and laid on towel to dry (tray rinsing method was too tedious)There is so much left over in the jar and the bottles are still mostly full.FYI/Tips (for other first timers):- ended up buying a $15 UV lamp - much faster and gives crisp results- I forgot to dry the first batch before putting in the light, some turned out ok but recommend not doing that.- will look green until exposed/rinsed- the outlines of the objects looked darker blue than the background after exposure , but they turn white/light when rinsed- don’t rub the paper too hard or it’ll get blurry

Doesn’t work
Chemicals were either expired or contaminated. Solution came out dark blue, still tried it and it didn’t work at all. Waste of money and time. Just buy a better one that’s more expensive.

Tricky to use, but works with skill and practice
Once mixed and painted, it goes on yellow and dries green. However, once properly cured in the sun, the product becomes a light to mid blue and after adding hydrogen peroxide, it becomes a dark blue. It is very tricky to use and time correctly using the sun as UV, but you it works and you get a lot of the solution if you’re doing a small project.
