SO GOOOOD OMG
My AirPods stopped working and I wanted something different I saw these and I think these are just amazing the noise cancellation is truly the best so far it’s durability is great the buttons are simple and it’s easy to use these came in the mail about two days ago I think and today June 20th I was listening to sailor song by Gigi Perez and had it on full volume and omg it made me realize these were amazing and for the price I mean these are GREAT also this is just a pic from a TikTok video on my booktok

Super good for the price
These headphones were just what I was looking for. They come in cute colors and connect to your phone easily. I don’t need another charger on my wall as they use my iPad charger (USB-C). They block out noise super well-I can’t hear anything through them. They aren’t super heavy or bulky either, which is nice if you want to wear them out or while you do things around the house. If you want over-ear headphones but don’t want to spend too much, these are good for you.

Great!
I love these headphones! I purchased when I was having issues with other headphones pairing with a bluetooth transmitter. Connected seamlessly. The LDAC technology is great. Good volume control and sound quality. Very lightweight design and cushy. Excellent noise cancellation.Overall, very pleased for the price. I cannot speak to durability quite yet, but we shall see.

Needs PC reboot while plugged in, Windows 11, for wired. Fantastic otherwise, SBC for lowest latency
So first and foremost an important workaround!;-I know I had this issue and I was looking through reviews. The USB-C audio works fine, but to make it work the first time, at least on Windows 11, you need to reboot the computer with them plugged in. Once Windows 11 starts up from scratch (full reboot not sleep mode) the USB-C audio will then work as expected. It's very good, actually. I haven't tried it on my android phone, but I will edit this if a solution is needed for the latest android. For sound? The sound is very good to be honest. It's up there with my Soundpeats Engine4, Soundcore Space One, and a handful of others in my collection. It'll never fit the position of my Grado's, though it's not designed to as it's closed back. For noise cancelling I have a Honeywell fan running next to me at full blast. There's some wind distortion if it hits the mic directly, but otherwise I can just barely hear the fan running and don't hear the house circulation fan. While I haven't been able to test it on a plane just yet this is a good sign. For bluetooth latency with gaming mode... You can expect a mixed bag DEPENDING on the codec you use. With LDAC it definitely reduces the latency a lot. However, you'll still notice a smidgen of it. (say drag over an icon in FFXIV you'll have a much smaller than normal, but still present, delay). Much better than most bluetooth but not the best. THAT SAID if you want true low latency with these use the SBC codec. When using SBC and game mode, on or off, the latency becomes almost entirely a non issue in FFXIV with sound on hover. Thankfully it has a bitpool of 51 so it supports SBC XQ if your phone image has that or PC if you use alternate a2dp driver to use dual channel and bitpool 47 with sbc on windows. With SBC at normal or SBC XQ the latency goes from barely noticeable with game mode off to invisible for me in ff14 with game mode on. I could really play it with either at that point. So don't be afraid to set LDAC to high quality mode and just swap to SBC when the latency really REALLY matters. The SBC seems to connect in high quality mode as well (something I didn't see in the Soundpeats Space which...for some reason...connected at low SBC quality bitrates). So you won't have horrific sound degradation.Wired operation: If I didn't bet my left cheek it was Windows 11's fault I would've chucked a star off. But to use it wired you have to use the USB cable. Personally I'm liking USB-C headphones as they charge, provide a bit of amplification yada yada. But on Windows 11 you will need to reboot the PC while they're plugged in for wired mode to work. My guess is this detects it's not just a device to charge during the boot sequence. Plugging them in without doing so just puts them into charge mode which turns the ANC on but not much else.

A Mix, But Not Bad Overall
I use these headphones primarily to listen to music and videos on a Windows 11 laptop. My first impression of the Edifiers is very mixed. They initially felt a bit tight on my middle-sized head, but after a short amount of wearing they are still snug, but a bit more comfortable. They stay in place well enough, but they don’t feel especially heavy or light. The ear pads are large and block a significant amount of ambient sound. They can get pretty warm after a short time, but not unbearably so. I can easily listen for an hour or so without significant discomfort. The build feels adequate, but not luxurious or bulletproof. The product description indicates that these are not foldable, but my ear pieces fold flat. The various joints are fairly sloppy, and the entirely plastic headband loses adjustment easily. This is my first experience with noise canceling. The effect is noticeable and pleasant, but not dramatic. Low frequencies are pretty well masked, higher frequencies not as much. Noise canceling is not as important to me as sound quality. The sound quality is good enough for my purposes, but not spectacular. On first listen, the sound seemed somewhat more processed than natural, and a bit thin and flat. From other reviews I knew they wouldn’t be bass heavy, which for me is a good thing. After a 4-5 hours of use, they seem to have gotten better. I haven’t used them enough to speak to full battery life, which is now at 80%.I usually use iTunes for playing my large music collection, and using the built-in iTunes equalizer makes a big difference. The presets are surprisingly good, and they make the Edifiers sound much better. It’s a bit of a pain to add another step, but the improvement is worth it.The sound when listening to speech on videos is good enough, but on some videos, I can sometimes detect a little latency. There is a game mode, but I couldn’t tell the difference.Pairing was easy, and the Bluetooth range a bit better than some of my other devices. After a day or two with no problems, I now sometimes get brief, random dropouts. I don’t know whether to blame the headphones, or interference from some other device. I can’t pin it down. A USB C to A charging cable is included, but not a charger. The buttons feel okay, but are not prominent enough, or differentiated enough, and they are spaced too close together for my large, numb fingers. I wish it had a dedicated power switch instead of a multi-function button that has to be held down to turn the power on or off. The power and ANC controls would be better on the left side.I don’t use the headphones with my iPhone, or use them to take calls, so I can’t speak to those functions. Now for the really unforgivable stuff:The included instructions are totally lacking, and in tiny print on a pamphlet made for very small ants. The downloadable pdf version is more readable, but not very helpful. I suppose the assumption is that you'll be using the app on your phone. It's inexcusable that there is no app alternative for Windows, and some of the settings and options are simply unavailable to PC users. Among other unavailable options there is supposed to be a "Standard" mode along with the Ambient, ANC and Game modes; the instructions provide no information as to what that even is. Also missing is whatever passes for an equalizer, and a battery status indicator. The manual makes no reference to it, but I found that battery status can be found in Windows under the settings for Bluetooth devices. Also totally ignored in the manual is the meaning of the various flashing blue LED patterns that come and go. In the manual for another model I found that they are likely Bluetooth status indicators, but the patterns don't really match this model. No clues on the Edifier site.Completely missing is any sort of indication as to whether the power is on or off. Sometimes the blue lights flash, sometimes they don't. This is where a dedicated two-position power switch would be very helpful. And it would avoid having to hold the power button down to turn the device on or off.The ANC is always enabled by default when powering on, instead of remembering the last used setting - that’s annoying and should be optional. How smart would a designer have to be to figure all this out? From what I understand, the phone app is a thinly veiled ad for other products and is likely to be a privacy issue. That trend is certainly unforgivable, and would be very unwelcome in a Windows app.I have little to compare these headphones with, except some older LG neckband earbuds, which sound much worse, and some even older wired Sennheiser P100 lightweight on-ear headphones, which sound a bit better and more natural. Despite the really stupid stuff listed above, the Edifiers are probably as good as I’ll get for the price. If they don’t break, I can recommend them for casual listening to music and video. For the $55 sale price, I probably could have done worse, and, at the moment, I’m planning to keep them. They’d be 4 stars except for the stupid stuff, and especially the functions lost without the app.
