Game changer. It balances my iPhone so well and I am not afraid that its going to fall out.

After having multiple plastic clips fall apart on me with minimal use I decided to invest in this metal clip.[Update: Sorry, this is not a metal clip. I was mistaken. But it is a much heavier and higher quality plastic that reminds me of thinkpad plastic. Much more durable to the point I thought it was metal at first. Nonetheless, I'm still happy with this. I have since found an all aluminum clip yet I still come back to using this one. The rest of my review still stands.]So glad I did. It is extremely durable and was even able to loan it to a friend to shoot a wedding without any worry they would break it or have it fall apart on them midway through the wedding. It was up to the challenge just fine.My only complaint is the way the clips fold flat. While great for packing and travel, they flap closed too easily when you're trying to mount your phone on it, causing you to back out, unfold the clips again and then try to reinsert. No problem if you plan to leave it in for a whole shoot, but if you want to quickly go back and forth from mounted to handheld a lot, then you might find this challenging. Thus, the one star deduction.Besides that, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I could easily see still using this 10 years from now. A great investment.

Easy to use. Adaptable to most phones. Good grip. Bought for my husband to use in his shop.

I have ordered a lot of brackets for my phone to attach to a tripod. This one has one of the best clips for stability. The edges actually have a foot that hold the phone even if the tripod is hit. Most have a slopped edge that still allows the phone to flip out if it’s hit. I love the better stability since I use my phone to record my daughter’s sports games. Best design I have found and I would recommend

This review is for the KDD Cell Phone Tripod Mount Adapter with Ball Head.I picked up a few of these intending to have them hold some computer fans to generate a nice breeze for some carrots and succulents growing indoors. This mount holds 120mm and 140mm fans, even with fan grills mounted on the front and back, no problem. The grip on the fans is strong enough that I had two 120mm fans attached together and this mount was still holding them just fine. Good stuff. Hopefully they hold up over the course of time.Update on 01-Aug-2024: I've ordered a total of four of these for use with 120mm and 140mm fans. Each is working well so far. However, one of them was definitely in used condition. That's Amazon's fault for not shipping a new product. As much as I am tempted to drop this down to four stars for that, it would reflect negatively on the wrong party.

The spring on this is just right to hold your phone tightly enough; but it's also not so strong as to be really difficult to get your phone into it, like another one I had in the past.The ball joint is helpful to get just the proper angle of your shot.

I broke easily but with some plastic cement glue I fixed it. Very flimsy product.
