Having used an SLR for many years I wrap the neck strap around my wrist in case I should drop it - unlikely but it’s expensive gear to repair. Recently bought a compact camera whose only negative in reviews is the body lacks a grip and it may slip out your fingers. It is small, but still expensive and the supplied wrist strap could also slip if the camera fell. Hence this purchase! The ability to tighten around your wrist (without stopping your circulation) gives you tremendous confidence regardless how ‘slippery’ the camera is. The only improvement I would suggest is a small metal ring as the cord is too big to go directly through the loop built into the camera body

A good looking strap and easy to take on and off. However, the strap is a bit longer than I need and would like. In a case where you might need to let the camera dangle (which I wouldn't choose to do but I can picture needing to do it or doing it by accident), there's enough for it to swing about a bit and get knocked. However, it seems rugged and it's quite comfortable to wear.

This is a super attachment for any photographer, i'd say the perfect present as well...I bought this because I was sick to death of being knocked when in a group of people and have the strap fall off my should and bye bye camera. I can say goodbye to that now. I've even have the option of leaving my camera dangle while I take my phone out to take some instant stills or video to send directly to social media and don't have to worry about the camera dropping and breaking...this is perfect!!

Using this with a Canon 5D3 and assorted lenses. This is my most accessible walk-around choice, but it's not a neck/shoulder strap replacement for a long days shoot with a heavy camera. If you are out hand-holding though it is very sturdy and gives you a level of security if your expensive camera and glass slips from your grasp (as you'd expect with para-cord). Its pretty comfortable and the quality does seem good; also quite easy to remove from your wrist quickly if required.

Useful tool for holding my Canon when I have on one of the long L lenses attached as they are very heavy but I do not like round the neck straps. Well made and I expect it to last.

Strong and light camera wrist strap. I am not a fan of neck straps, and the wrist strap provides "insurance" against the camera accidentally slipping from your grip and getting damaged. Easy to slip over your wrist, and leaves full access to camera controls.

This is perfect and just what I was hoping for. It feels very good quality, well made and I feel very secure using it knowing my camera is safe.Nice colour with the red and black. I'm very pleased :-)

Bought three for Christmas gifts, not tried mine out yet but feels good and strong.
