Perfumers Workshop – Tea Rose Eau De Toilette 120 ml Spray

It isn't particularly complex on the skin but with rose that really isn't an issue - such an authentic creation of the scent of a large rose bush in full bloom on a thundery day in the garden can easily stand alone.This is a rather strong perfume and due to sensitivities I'm sadly unable to use it as a body fragrance so instead I'm using it as a beautiful room and fabric scent. After I've sprayed it on the front door curtain, it produces a truly gorgeous waft of roses each time it is opened. It would also be lovely sprayed on freshly washed linen and bedspreads stored in the airing cupboard.I had fresh red roses in a vase recently and a guest arrived and they immediately pointed to and commented on "the beautiful scent of the roses", so this is testimony to its very authentic rose fragrance. A lovely creation at just the right price point - I would compare it to Jo Malone's "Red Roses" although happily the sillage of Tea Rose beats hers hands down, so if you're looking for another authentic rose scent, here it is.

Almost photorealistic scent, smells like a rose with its stem. Green, natural and a little bit harsh which is true to life. If you’re used to more rounded smoother and sweeter roses found in perfume it can be a challenging wear.I think for the price it’s a no brainer to try and maybe you’ll find a new love, at worse you’ll find a cheap decently performing perfume that you can use to spray on foul smelling furniture or stinky bathrooms.

Like most of my fellow customers, I loved this perfume in the 80s. My sister gave me the eau de parfum version and it came in an opaque dark grey bottle. Very classic-looking back then and the perfume was strong so all I needed was 2 short sprays and that lasted a good 24 hours. I was delighted to see this perfume back on the market. The packaging is more basic, it is far more reasonably priced than I remember and it is just an eau de toilette but the smell is exactly the same and the eau de toilette also lasts very long. It is just as delightful as it was before - makes you feel like you are standing in a garden filled with fragrant old-fashioned English roses - and it brings back so many happy memories. I hope it remains on the market as I will definitely buy it again when this bottle runs out.

Smells like my grandma’s handkerchief. Doesn’t last long either which is probably good in a way. Expensive for what it is.

I bought Tea Rose based on online reviews and forums such as Fragrantica. I am into rose perfumes so thought this would be a good addition to my collection. Unfortunately, I am now using this up by lightly spraying my sofa throws every now and then as that is the only way I can enjoy the smell.This is supposed to smells like freshly cut roses. That is correct, however, the 'green' aspect is too strong and very sharp. It smells as though cheap rosewater has been mixed with a toilet cleaner.In addition to this, when sprayed on skin, the sharp note mimics the smell of tangy sweat which is a big no-no! This could be because of my body chemistry though (I was clean when I tried the perfume, I promise).

True rose scent, large bottle and great value for money. Not the most longest lasting of perfumes, but at this price you can top it up all day long. Definitely the scent of the summer of 2022 for me, it’s gorgeous, would buy again.

I don’t know what I was expecting but I know it’s good for toilet and towel. Very strong rose smell . A bit too strong .

This has been a favourite for years and it's still beautiful. People ask if it is Jo Malone and it is much cheaper so I think that is a sign of a great value, beautiful scent. Thank you,
