My husband loves this suya rub!!! The taste is the best….I always pull it out when we are grilling! Don’t think just buy it.

This had the authentic taste of suya spice with a lot of heat.

This suya spice was pretty good it’s flavorful and has a kick. Do think you will still need to add salt & your own spices but it’s a good addition.

Unable to grill and used this spice. Sliced beef and chicken thighs into strips, marinated for 24 hrs and slow baked in oven. Delicious!!! Pouch of spice goes a long way.

This is just pure hot Cayenne pepper. Little or no peanut as found in real suya spices. I make a better close to suya spice. Saw this and bought, hoping to get the real suya spice. Save your money except you want Cayenne pepper

I used it as a steak rub. Let it sit overnight.Not sure if the amount I used was what is typical. The instructions didn't describe. I covered the steak pretty well.Not a typical steak rub flavor. Very spicy/peppery. The actual flavor was pretty mild.The package recommends salting the meat which I did. But I went a little light on salt to make room to taste the rub. Next time, I'd use more salt. (Salt isn't one of its ingredients.)Overall, it's interesting. I probably need to experiment with it more to get a better feel for how to use it.I give it 3 out of 5 because A) I enjoyed my steak and will use it b again but B) It's probably too hot for most people. C) The heat/flavor balance seems not quite right. (High heat, mild flavor).Personally, I like spicy food and have a high tolerance for heat. But prefer there to be a balance between heat and flavor. That being said, I didn't notice the heat after the first couple bites. The flavor did come through better then.
