After researching the junk in most cat foods and noticing my cat was never fully satisfied, I decided to switch to Applaws—and it’s been the smoothest transition ever. He absolutely loves it! The variety of flavors keeps him interested, so he never gets bored.Since switching, I’ve noticed he seems more content after meals, and his fur looks shinier and healthier. I mix it with a high-quality dry food, and together, it makes the perfect balanced meal for him. He definitely has his favorites—the crab flavor is a huge hit! He turns into a little gremlin at mealtime and never leaves his bowl half full.The best part? It smells surprisingly good, with no of that gross cat food stench, and the appearance of the food is just as appealing—real meat, not fillers. With about 80% meat and actual meat (not by-products), I feel good knowing exactly what my cat is eating.Yes, it’s not the cheapest cat food out there, but knowing my boy is getting real, high-quality ingredients makes it worth every penny. Applaws wet cat food has been a favourite of my cats for years.• High quality food.• Smells lovely and fresh.• They love the taste of the different flavours.• And as an added bonus there are No added Preservatives and no animal derivatives in this food.(Whereas other brands of store bought cat food are full of Preservatives and animal derivatives, which are not the best things for your cats health)Applaws only use the best ingredients for your pets, i have seen a big improvement in my cats general health and wellbeing since changing their food:• Better fur and skin.• Improvements in their stools.• More energy.• They always finsh off their food.• No more being sick (compared to when they ate other brands of wet cat food)And the best improvement is that my cat who hasn't been able to eat fish in years, can now eat and enjoy fish again since changing to this brand of food.One of my cats has had bladder issues for most of her life and kept getting recurring bladder crystals / infections.Our vets said that Fish based foods were most likely the cause of the bladder crystals forming. So for a long time we avoided all Fish flavoured foods.But since changing to Applaws, she has been able to eat Fish again and has had no problems with her bladder since (It's now been 2 years since her last bladder flare up).We believe this is because there are no additives/preservatives/derivatives in Applaws wet food (compared to other brands of food that would of immediately given her issues).There are 12 tins in the box.And there are 4 different flavours:• 3× Tuna Fillet.• 3× Ocean Fish.• 3× Tuna Fillet with Prawn.• 3× Mackrel with Sardine.I would definitely recommend this brand to others wanting to try something new and/or wanting to give their cats a better quality of wet food.5*****

My cats love this cat food, one tin isn't really enough for a meal though, but I do have big cats. Please do be aware though that this food IS NOT a compete cat food, so you can't feed this to your cats alone - they'll need to use another compete food alongside this to make sure they are getting all the nutrients they need. I mix with a dry food and usually split one tin between them to mix with the other food which works well. It's got a high meat content and lots of moisture which is what I like because it gives them high quality protein and hydration. I've tried lots of different cat food, and always come back to this. The tins make it easy to store, I don't really like my freezer being packed full of cat food and this is a good option for high quality food. It's got four stars from me because it's not complete. If they were to put ground bone for example this would improve the nutrient content. That being said, this is a great option for providing your cat with natural high quality food that does not take up the entire space of your freezer.

Our elderly cat (18yrs) loves this food. Really simple recipe with very few ingredients. Cat seems to be able to chew it well and digest it easily. Doesn't have that horrid cat-food smell that a lot of other cheaper brands have.Would recommend all cat owners to give this food a try.

I've been through a lot of different cat foods searching for the right thing for my 16yo cat, Halo. She's fussy at the best of times and because of a kidney illness sometimes goes off her food - so I wanted something which was nutritious, tasty, and would give her the nutrients she'd need for her health.This is the best wet cat food I've found – high in natural nutrition, but also clearly tasty. My cat laps up every last bite, leaving a clean bowl after each meal (which, as the owners of fussy cats will know, is sometimes not easy!)Each tin is the ideal size for a portion for a main meal, and I've noticed my cat will wolf down most of the portion before going back for seconds a few minutes later. She can't get enough of it, and I'm glad to see her enjoying her food.Because this cat food is a little more expensive than other alternatives, I've tried making it go further by mixing it in with some of her kidney support dry food, which has been successful! As other reviews have mentioned, it also smells (and looks!) surprisingly good, without the traditional smell of meat-heavy cat food.In short, while it's not the cheapest cat food option out there, my cat loves it and eats all of it – and that's as much of a recommendation as I need!
