I guess "loose" has a different meaning when you came of age in the 90's, but these fit my usual 32" waist, and are the right length (just below the knee) for my 6' height, but a bit too snug around the butt and hip.Might go a size up and use a belt if I buy these again.

Light and durable - even in 45’c heat!Brilliant fit

These fit, but when I put anything with an element of weight into one of the pockets, I could start to feel the shorts dropping very slightly as I walk. Leg widths lower down are very wide. I had initially planned to take these on holiday, but I've since demoted them to just wearing around the house.

These shorts are thin and lightweight, so don't expect anything else, but I actually like them. They could be better, if the legs were tapered to fit, and the pull cord at the bottom is completely pointless, I can't imagine anyone ever using it, you'd look like a a total bell end.

True to size, comfortable, only problem was the colour! Sold as beige, which is what my son wanted, but it was more of an orange brown colour!
