I’ve been running a full Victron setup in my RV since 2021, including the MultiPlus inverter/charger, the SmartSolar 100/30 charge controller, the BMV-712 battery monitor, and the Digital MultiControl panel. After years of use across various climates and conditions, I can confidently say this system has been absolutely rock solid.Each component was easy to install and configure, and the integration between devices is seamless. The MultiPlus handles all of my AC needs flawlessly, switching between shore power, generator, and battery without a hiccup. The SmartSolar charge controller keeps my solar system optimized and running efficiently, even on cloudy days. The BMV-712 gives me precise battery monitoring at a glance, and the MultiControl panel makes managing the inverter simple from inside the RV.What I appreciate most is how this system has given me real freedom. I can boondock for days without stress, knowing exactly how my batteries are doing and trusting that the system will just work. I paired this with a lithium battery and a 370 watt solar panel on our RV. It has been a great addition. I love being able to pull up the app and see battery and solar voltage. This is my first Victron product, and I’m hooked. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but this thing works well and I have no concerns about the quality. It’s been in use for several months so far.

Amazing charge controller. This thing is solid with simple and tight wire connectors. It has a heat sink on the back and only gets a little warm with 400W of panels on a sunny day. The app is intuitive and straightforward - I like it. Three blue lights tell you different battery charging modes. No need to select battery type or mess with menus. It just works. So pleased I returned a cheaper unit and got this instead.

If you want the best quality this is the brand. Wired up two and they work perfect right out of the box. Might spend a little more for the product, but peace of mind is worth the money. Bluetooth connection works great.

It functions perfectly. I was impressed by how “smart” it was. For example, I tested turning off the charging on my BMS and the Victron detected this, and entered absorption mode. Definitely buy Victron for your solar setup. Plus it’s blue and looks clean! Very sturdy construction too.

Deceptive description, it leads you to believe that there is no built in Bluetooth and that you will need to purchase one separately. This is not true, it does have built in Bluetooth. Other than that it works perfectly, like all VictronConnect products do.
