Neat package but doesn’t run for long
The media could not be loaded. The packaging is pretty smart; it’s shaped like an egg and the bottom section becomes the remote control. The car itself has a built-in battery and you will need to place 2 x AA batteries into the controller. You then charge the car from the connector on the remote. The charge time is only about 5 mins which is good I suppose, but then it will only run for about 7 minutes! So, in reality you will be constantly re-charging it.It drives well on carpet and hard surfaces around the home but I think it would struggle a bit outside of the house. Full functionality is possible from the remote, forward, back, left, right etc.Overall I would say it is a good little gift or stocking filler but be prepared for the short running time and lots of charging.

Fun but poor design
This little dino car is a lot of fun - once you get it out of its packaging that is!It's held in place by 2 small screws which you have to remove to get to battery pack and get car out.The bottom of the egg is the remote for the car - you also need to put 2 AA batteries in here which runs the remote and charges the car itself. The car is charged by a random little wire.Run time is approx 5-10mins and charge time is approx 10-20minsRemote is easy to use - forward back left and right and is responsiveCar moves quickly across most surfaces - slightly slower on carpet than hard flooring but still fast enough.Car has taken numerous runs into walls and off the stairs and is still working despite this.If the charging was better designed this would easily have been a higher rating

IMPRESSIVE tiny car, SPEEDY and fun (after the initial setup)...
The media could not be loaded. This is a TINY remote control car that’s actually surprisingly fast and fun to play with - amazingly zippy on smooth surfaces but the chunky little wheels are great quality and actually work okay on low-medium pile carpet too! Now, when I first received the car, it seemed unnecessarily fiddly BUT it’s just because of the way the car's been designed so it can be housed neatly inside the plastic egg packaging. You do get an instruction leaflet but I actually recommend watching the second VIDEO CLIP that comes on after the promo clip at the top of this product page as it actually shows how to unbox, prep and charge the car... If you can’t / don’t want to watch the clip, read my tips at the bottom of this review*I quite like the visual design of the car; admittedly I wasn’t convinced initially (it’s a dinosaur head on some wheels) but I think it works because it still resembles the body of a car. It’s fairly easy to get a hang of the remote control; the car can move forwards and backwards and also has a good turning circle. Lots of fun and no annoying sound effects either (ha!).So, I think once you get past the initial fiddly unboxing, this is a great little toy. Well made with a very considered, compact and rather intellectual design. The car is fast, entertaining and giftable the way it’s been presented (ideal as a stocking filler). I definitely like it!*T i p s :>> You’ll need a Philips screwdriver (not included: it’s the tiny one with a star tip). Unscrew the car to release it from the base (which is actually the remote control) - and there’s a second screw under the car itself: these screws only need removing once.>> The remote control uses 2x AA batteries (not included) and you also use the power from these batteries to charge up the actual car.>> The car must be in the OFF position while charging otherwise it won’t charge up.>> You only get a few minutes of play with each charge but it also only takes a few minutes to recharge.>> Packaging suggests 6yrs+, I think because of the small parts, the delicate nature of the car and the way it needs to be connected up for charging (you don’t want small children putting it in their mouths).

Fun little car
This is perfect for any little one that loves dinos. I like that it comes in a little egg with everything inside it which makes it great to store when not in use. I like that it’s all in one and that you can charge the car from the controller. You will need a couple of batteries for the controller. It’s quite a nippy little thing and is a lot of fun for such a small car. We have loved making little ramps for it and making it fly over them.Overall it’s a great little car for young ones and you don’t have to worry about them crashing it into things. I would recommend it if you are after a gift.

Great stocking filler, battery life isn't that good.
A dinsour egg that has a dinasour car insideIt's a great little car but doesn't move that well on carpet. The remote is part of the egg and takes batteries which ain't included. This is a fantastic little toy and my son loves it.
