I'm not a big fan of anchovies and I only use them when I'm making spag bol or slow cooker stew/curry to add depth to the flavour.As long as I can't see them, I'm happy.I've bought the little jars of whole anchovies and they are quite expensive, so this is a cheaper option. The only problem with using paste is it's hard to know how much paste equals 1 anchovy.It's a 4/5 star's from me.

Some say the anchovies are an acquired taste about this quite neat tube of anchovy paste. What can I say? They enhance my Cesar salads or my pizzas I would buy them anytime.

This stuff is the bom-diggy. It’s that little extra bit of something in my bolognaise sauce, the extra wow on my cheese toasties. It only needs a tiny bit for a big bang, and it goes in with your garlic paste (also gia, thank you very much!) and onion at the start to really build flavour. It’s so so easy to use and I love it. Thank you my lovely tube of fishy magic.
