This is the perfect replacement battery for my Black and Decker weed trimmer. I read a lot of reviews about the battery not charging up all the way. You HAVE to buy the new charger that it shows with “people also purchase” for the extra $20 and problem solved. I tried the new battery with my old charger and it didn’t charge fully, but works great with the new charger. Hope this helps

Update 4-9-242years on and the batteries are still working great. They live in a hot garage and still have no issues charging. They still seem to last as long as the day I got them. Would higly recommend these.Original review:Perfect OEM replacement. Lasts longer, but the OEM charger didn't like it for some reason. It was also fussing with one of my OEM batteries so I picked up a aftermarket charger and it works perfectly. Can't speak to longevity yet, but so far it's holding up fine.

This replacement battery worked twice and now it won’t hold a charge. I rated it when I first got it, I wish I hadn’t because it’s worthless. So dissatisfied.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this battery back in October 2023 and initially was charged to 50%. After placing it on the charger until the red blinking light indicated a full charge, I found it still held only a 50% charge (two green bars lit) upon testing. I used it briefly to blow leaves off the front steps, a task that took less than two minutes. I then stored the battery disconnected from the charger and blower in a closet .On March 3, 2024, I retrieved the battery and connected it to the weed blower - it still showed a 50% charge (two green bars lit). It lasted about five minutes before dying. After recharging, the battery initially blinked green, then switched to blinking red after a couple of hours, indicating a full charge. However, it still only showed two green bars. Upon using it, the battery lasted less than two minutes. Despite charging for hours, it consistently indicates two green bars and lasts only a few minutes in use. Unfortunately, the return period has elapsed. The included video shows the battery still indicating two green bars after hours of charging. Based on these observations, I believe the battery is defective and cannot be fully charged. I'm unsure if the company will take any steps to address this issue.

Great value for the purchase price provided you use a decent charger. The one that came with my B&D tool did not charge properly before the red light started flashing and would not charge completely. The new charger did the job. I'm glad I waited until I tried with the new charger before sending this back. Now, there is no need to do that and all seems to be charged and working fine.
