for one (1) 128oz bottle liquid cascade dishwasher DETERGENT you get about 50 dishwasher loads. cascade, while is more expensive than others is best. I am able to double this (100 loads) by using the following process. without using any dish soap I rinse off dishes in sink first in cold water with a handled dish brush (quickly just to get the chunks off - (using cold saves $ money) and load the dishwasher. i then squeeze a SMALL amount (aprox 2
tsp) of DISHSOAP onto the inside of the dishwasher door. (more than that you get over sudsing and leaks onto kitchen floor) I only add the cascade into the closeable detergent receptacle and shut it (not the other open receptacle so i am using half as much) I close the washer door and start the load. I find that cascade is the best detergent, better than all others i have tried. IMPORTANT: you need to first get HOTest water from you water heater to the dishwasher before you start the cycle, do this by running the water through the pipes by running hot water to the sink. (when i do this part i quickly hand wash any cooking pans that i am not putting into the dishwasher.) the first cycle of a dishwasher is usually very short and the dish soap gets all the grease off the dishes and rinses it away before the cascade is released, I do not like to use cascade in the initial rinse cycle because the cycle is so short and dish detergent is WAY more expensive than dish soap. I may be over sharing and sound like a tightwad, but i have saved a lot of money on detergent and water heating.

Is this a liquid or a gel? I need a liquid for my automatic dispenser on my dishwasher, it doesn’t work with gel. Thanks!

Due to corona virus i have run out of laundry detergent.  can i use cascade advanced diswasher liquid detergent to handwash my clothes?

Hi, your question made me laugh at first but I did some research anyway and found this. Dish soap can cost much less than laundry detergent and can clean your clothes just as well. However, it's important to keep in mind that you will use a lot less dish liquid than laundry detergent. Adding too much dish soap will cause your washing machine to overflow with bubbles.

Question 4

Is this dishwasher detergent a non-lemon dishwasher detergent? I noticed that it contains citric acid.
