I purchased three different brands of outlets and found the same result with all three brands. Some of the outlets you cannot plug-in an appliance. No matter how hard I push I cannot get the plug in the socket. Between the three brands I was able to complete my project but it was annoying. Seems part of quality control should be to ensure appliances can be plugged in.

This is a well-priced bundle that (at time of purchase) was cheaper than buying a 10 pack of outlets and a 10 pack of screwless switchplates. I prefer the Levitron Decora to this outlet as the logo is smaller and more subtle on the Levitron and the Levitron is slightly less glossy (call it eggshell or semi-gloss vs. Full Gloss of the Bestten). It is not a good idea to put a Levitron switch or outlet in the Bestten switchplate or vice-versa as the color and glossiness are not an exact match, that said the fit is compatible.

I purchased 20 of these - have only installed 5 so far, but I'm happy with the quality of the outlets as well as the face plates. I installed 3 as LINE only -- the other 2 with LINE and LOAD connections. I noticed that the quick connect release requires a smaller screw driver than the one I traditionally use for popping wires from the back of outlets. But as long as you have a smaller screwdriver (e.g. eye-glass screwdriver), you'll be in business. Regarding faceplates, all had individually wrapped screws which prevented the hated "missing screw" problem that often plagues faceplates when they are poorly packaged. Would definitely recommend these outlets (and will likely buy more).

For the price, you can't beat these. They look great too! Unfortunately the tamper resistant feature is not very smooth. On some plugs you'll have to push rather hard to get them in the outlet. Given the force required, I wouldn't be surprised if they broke after a few years. The leviton and lutron outlets are better made (but easily double the price). Bottom line, I'd use them again, just don't put them where you like to unplug and plug things often.

These were installed by my electrician who was impressed with the quality for the price.

Great price, but had to return it as they were way to small. Great quality though.

The product is neat and sleek the only problem is we need to buy a new flat head screw for all the outlets so the cover will fit perfectly and wont bounce back.

I only have good things to say about Bestten and their products. I bought several packs of decora receptacles, switches (single pole and three-way) and screwless wall plates (single, double and triple gang).On the technical side, the overall quality is on par with the big brands on the market. The products are quite easy to install and have all the desired features, connectors and certifications. On the aesthetic side, the products are very slick and modern looking. Usually in this price range, the plastic is dull, wavy, and not very resistant. Bestten products look like high-end products. The plastic is very white, with a smooth and glossy finish. The screwless wall plates also seem to be very resistant.I also have to mention that Bestten customer service was very helpful and efficient when I contacted them.

Everything about these are great from the value to the presentation. The big barrier I’ve found is the install with the tamper proof kit. It seems to be designed in a way that results in never getting it flush. Spent quite a few hours on this but it doesn’t seem to be designed effectively for that...
