Q: If you input the wrong digit in a long number can you backspace to remove just that digit? I'm hoping that is what the arrow button does.

The answer is yes, but it's peculiar because the arrow button is facing to the right, but the numbers disappear (one by one) from the left. Possibly because the Chinese write from right to left, whereas we go left to right. But I'm not recommending this machine, a) because it's made in China and b) because it doesn't do pence: it rounds up to the nearest whole number.

Great at the price

The numbers add up - great at the price. So much better than the annoying touch-screen calculator on my phone. If you are serious about number-crunching, this is perfect. Not pocket-sized, but then it’s good for the desktop.

Does not work on solar keys a little insensitive.

It works I have found you need a battery the solar panel is not enough to power it alone when used inside.There are no instructions as to what the switches do and they have to be set right which is to the right or to a uk mind it works weird.Bad the keys are a little hard to press so when going fast it is easy to fail to press a key it is particularly true of the larger keys if I fail to hit plus dead center.
