Absolutely amazing
I love my cheap brand cookworks pressure cooker only £50 that I bought a few years ago. I wanted to upgrade to this instant pot pressure cooker with air fryer lid. After I did many research and waited for black Friday. I got this Instant pot with air fryer pro crisp because I like the inner pot has handles on both side, so I can use it as my stock pot.I tried making jasmine rice first because I used to just press rice button, this model has no rice button, after Google, I tried one cup of rice and one cup of water, used pressure cook method, turned on 3 minutes and warm for 10 minutes is done. Rice was perfectly cooked even though small amount in this big pot 7.6L.I tried air fryer for wedges, put the air fryer lid on, set for 14 minutes and 180C, pressed start, preheat only take less a minute, open the lid and added food, put the lid on, it started cooking, in half way would remind you to stir with message " food burn", I opened the lid and stir, put the lid on and continued cooking. Wedges were very good. The pot is big enough for the whole extra large chicken. I was so excited to try some roast chicken recipes. I pressure cooked the whole chicken for 20 minutes and air frying another 15-20 minutes to crisp the skins. I used the leftover juice from chicken in the pot to make gravy using sauté setting. Wow I can do a roast chicken in the weekday within one pot.I also tried baking an 8 inch tinned chocolate cake with bake button. Cake was as good as from the oven. Now I bought an extra pot and glass lid as well because I found them useful to have two pots while I made some casserole from using pressure cooker method, then take it out and I switch to use other pot for air fry something else for kids. Frozen French fries came out crispy from air fryer. Air fryer lid is so easy to use and you can open it anytime to check your food.Mash potato, omg its so quick and easy with pressure cooker method. All the pots and lids and accessories are dishwasher safe except air fryer lid. Although I hand washed my pressure cooker lid.The great thing is you can replace almost everything if anything broken, instant pot website sells lots of spare parts. I bought an extra pot and lid came next day free delivery.I also like that this machine is very clever and will show you the message like "add food" so you know its preheated, "food burn" to remind you that to stir, "too hot" to remind you to cancel or stir.Air fryer preheat less than a minute, so much quicker than preheating the oven while I have hungry children in the house, I can quickly to air fry some chicken nuggets and chips for them.

Fantastic all rounder
I was skeptical at first, believing that single purpose machines would be best. However having separate; slow cookers; air fryers; pressure cookers etc began to take up too much space. Having researched various Instant pots and their Ninja competitors, the price (on offer) for this all in one duo crisp with the ultimate lid made a compelling argument. I was not disappointed, it looks sleek and contemporary but it's not all glitz with nothing to back it up. I can compare a few of it's features with other standalone machines and all are favourable. The airfryer is effective, quick and has good results. (Compared with a larger rack based airfryer) and their is no need to swap lids with this model. One press of a button and the pressure cooker part of the lid drops out to reveal the heating elements. Not too noisy in use either. The pressure cooker is certainly quick and has a huge capacity, very quick to get to pressure and you have a choice of pressure release types (quick, natural etc) Safer and more controllable than my old manual one.Combining the different functions can mean a meal which would normally take hours can be cooked in a fraction of the time using less energy. One such meal is pulled pork. You can start by sauting the meat in the instant pot and then use the pressure cooker to finish off, or the slow cooker. The instant pot inner bowl is stainless steel which is quick to clean. The air fryer basket and trivet are non stick. The instant pot excels at making yoghurt, a huge amount in a single session; 4l of whole milk makes about 2l of thick creamy greek style yoghurt after straining and lots of whey for marinades adding to bread dough etc.Whilst I haven't tried the bake, proving or dehydrating functions yet I've no doubt they will be outstanding.I'm so glad I dived into this purchase and for the amount of times I've used it it is teal value for money and not like gimmicky vacuum in the corner gathering dust. If it could make; good fresh bean to cup coffee; great toast and blend up a smoothie that would cover almost all my morning needs in one machine. Until then I'm really happy with this. BUT...for a premium product the user/start manual is pretty non existent. You are directed online to view user manuals online or download. (Not a big issue but might be for some). There are large global user groups on social media that post recipes, tips and offer help to newbies, so answers to any questions you may have are usually readily available.
