Plaid PE5535 Folk Art Treasure Gold Acrylic Craft Paint, Gold, 2oz

Just wish I had the right paint brush to apply on my resin jewelry pieces better… it’s sometimes applies smooth and other times chunky uneven so still working on it… but color is really nice compared to other products I’ve used

This paint is a gorgeous shiny gold, it looks just like gold leaf. I have worked with real gold leaf on a carved table but this paint ended up looking better, I painted the frame to turn it into a mirror and discard the painting, love the gold paint finish. And This frame was brown and this is how it looks after just two layers of this paint. This paint is very thick and high viscosity so little goes a long way, after this job there is still about 2 ounces left. I am about to order another bottle to paint another frame and few other things. I also painted my red stained glass Tiffany light using this paint and I did a very thin layer over the dark black carved metal pieces of the light, take a look at how it looks on that.

As an artist who loves all things shiny, I can’t go past this range of paints. They are brilliant. Great coverage and superb finish. I have all of the colours in the range and love each one.

I have been using this gold paint for a mulitude of different projects because I really love the color, the consistency, and application. The gold color is exactly what I want and it turns out great every time. There is not much reflection however so if you are looking for a shiny metallic gold this isn't it as the finish is more brass. Very nice color! Thank you!
